Razor : Yaqi "Tile" with a Yaqi handle- Mfg 2021>, great tame mild to tame mid range, similar to the Henson razors, made from 316 SS and has a built in angle for mostly carefree shaving. Machining and finish QC adequate for my shaving needs. I use a Kai SS Extra wide in this razor for a little more blade feel.
Blade : Kai SS extra wide(2) sharp & smooth with excellent longevity, the blade is wider by 9/1000 of a inch giving a slight boost in blade feel in those razors that need a little boost for your preference for blade feel.
Soap : Speick stick, nice mild spicy scent with excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi "artic sky" 24mm silvertip badger, excellent lather generator, heavenly pillow like soft tips, gentle splay scrubber + excellent lather painter. Nice ergonomic handle + great knot.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Razorock blue barber with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= excellent shave with my Yaqi Tile razor with a Kai SS extra wide blade.

The Colgate Mug Shave Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #424 synthetic brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Gem Damaskeene OC Razor and the Personna GEM SS PTFE Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Humphrey's Witch Hazel. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

 

Would love a chance for another Colgate. THIS time I'd get right to it instead of having it sit unusd for a long time, thus losing the scent.

Razor : Yaqi Excalibur with Yaqi Milano 316 SS polished handle - Mfg 2021>,tame mid range, simple clamping design, head made from Zamak + small head parts, excellent results 95%+ of time for stellar shaving IMO.
Blade : Schick proline p30, AC 50mm blades, sharp and smooth with reasonable longevity. Good pairing with razor.
Soap : Speick stick, nice mild spicy scent with excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi " Ever helpful" 22mm 2band badger- excellent lather generator, pillow like soft tips, firm splay scrubber + great painter. This brush is designed for folks who enjoy the scrub but still has soft tips, short loft with HD knot makes it perfect as a scrubber.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Pinaud Clubman with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers= excellent shave with my Yaqi Excalibur with a Schick proline p 30 blade.

Prep: Warm shower:/ Asda Tingly Mint & Tea Tree Shower Gel.

Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face & head.
Wright's Coal Tar Traditional Bar Soap.
Brush: AP Shave Co 24mm Cashmere Synthetic.
Bowl Lather.
Bowl : Home Bargains Stainless Steel Side Bowl.
Lather: MWF.
Razor: (Face) Parker 55SL Semi-Slant. - Euromax Platinum. (D1)
Razor: (Head/Dome) Yaqi Katana. - Euromax Platinum Single Edge. (D1.)

Post:
Cold water face & head wash with brush squeezing's, Cold Water Face & Head Rinse./Alum Rub. / Cold Water Face & Head Rinse. Homemade (~Autumn/Winter mix~) peppermint lavender, eucalyptus, + Tea Tree essential Oils Mixed Together With 200ml of Care+Witch Hazel. / Nivea Men Replenishing PSB./Milton Lloyd The Man Cobalt EdT.

A new shave set up to start the weekend...My recent reacquaintance with my Slant razors has been wonderful. The Parker 55SL Semi-Slant is such a smooth shaver, very much like the Merkur 37C and it's bigger sibling 39C.The Euromax Platinum was a great match with both the Yaqi katana & Parker 55SL Semi-Slant feeling smooth & efficient in both razors.

An invigorating cold water face and head shave with no errors to report. Finishing the shave off with a few small squirts of Milton Lloyd The Man Cobalt EdT to the pulse points.

My face & precious swede are feeling super smooth & smelling divine.

Here my belated Wednesday Shave (18.01.2023)


Razor: Merkur45 Bakelite // Blade: Gillette Bleue Extra (4) // Soap: Calani Oriental Plum // Brush: Nightdiver´s Honeystick // Aftershave: 4711 Portugal Aftershave Milk

The newest family member, the Merkur 45 Bakelite, performed well. Not perfekt, but good. I think it was the extreme lightweight of the razor. Not 100% BBS but close enough to see what the razor is capable of. It will be used more often. Soap? Legendary…the brush had no problems creating good lather. It was a good one.
