I agree. I love the grain and the color, but I just have to say, I don't like glossy finish on bark. I'm a smooth guy myself. But I recognize craft when I see it, and that is a well made piece. Thanks for sharing!
Wow - nice I am about to attempt to build one myself. I also have a scales project I am going to try for an old W&B razor I have.
Can't believe I missed this. Checks date on thread. Ah. I see why now. Anyone remember what this sold for?
Nope. Here's the For Sale thread, but he apparently edited out the price. btw, I'm just about the only "anyone" you're gonna get that is still around from 2007.
I for one, am glad you stuck around. I thought Dridecker, sparky, and stingraysrock were from that era as well?
Someone's gotta come up with fun and interesting things to improve the forum. (yes, that does mean there are things in the works.) Just sparky, but he has always been less involved in the happenings on the public side of the forum than myself. Have you seen his post count?? Dridecker joined in 2009, and stingraysrock joined in 2010.
I guess that means I'm almost an old timer now. Edit: Unlike you. You have access to the Doctor's Tardis.
Thank you for fixing the pictures PLANofMAN. It was not sold. I am in possession of it now. Beautiful piece.
