Hard to believe the original brown Listerine was originally introduced as an aftershave. It works. Leaves a sticky residue and smells bad, FYI.
I was wrong, it was originally introduced as an antiseptic for doctors and dentists. And no, the original hasn't been reformulated.
I use a old spice rack for holding my ever growing # of brushes and also these Guitar wall hangers that are adjustable and very happy with the Guitar wall hangers have worked out even better than I thought possible. Have some great shaves!
A wire hanger was bent into the necessary shapes to hold a brush & razor. They were then inserted/glued into a block of wood.
Nothing too fancy- just empty Altoid Arctic tins for blade disposal. I like the mints , so we always have the containers and the lids stay closed securely.
Works great with a small slot cut in it and a bead of silicone around the inner edge to keep it closed. When filled drop in recyclables safely.
@Enrico I haven’t found that necessary. The lid from that tin stays closed quite securely. So I just open it, drop in a blade & reclose it.
I collect used DE blades in a prescription pill bottle and take them to the doc's office for disposal. It takes about a year for me to fill the bottle.
If sharps are packaged in a sturdy, sealed, and labeled container, I could place them in the trash. I prefer not to do this, but that's just me.
