Massive haul today, three packages. Of the 4 clippers, two had broken teeth and are now in the garbage. The prize of that package was the Kriss Kross stropper, which appears to be slightly dirty, but in otherwise pristine condition. As I suspected, one of the strops is unusable and will become a donor source of strop leather for other projects. I'm in the process of restoring the other two strops, one of which is an unusual combination of shell and pigskin. The other is double shell with one of the strops having a textured pattern of dimples for stropping compound. Two Gillette blade banks, one of which is very old, pre-1920's.

The other package, courtesy of drake @redrako, is 3 tubes of Figaró Habzó Borotvakrém, a Hungarian bottom shelf lathering shaving cream which I inordinately adore, and which I've had trouble sourcing for years.

The third package is a very special gift from @Beth/denmason, and is the fourth edition of the Standardized Textbook of Barbering. This is the book that taught her late husband, Dennis @denmason how to properly hone straight razors, using the now common "X" pattern honing technique at a time when pyramid honing was all the rage, and now it will properly teach me to do the same.

A few days ago, we received a computer desk for my GF, but she ordered it before she knew how big her new gaming tower was. It's larger than a lot that I've seen so we started a return at Walmart online. They refunded the payment and generously said that we didn't need to return it. So now I have a better place to put my printer and other stuff.............

    One of my favorites.
Despite being a “novelty” handle it’s a fantastic grip for a razor.

Thanks Gary, can only shave once a day, but the puzzles can take up more time.

I tried it last night the shave was great ........ almost like I was just wiping the lather off with no blade feel. I use to think it was just a bunch of hype about how nice it shaves ..... it's not, it really is a great razor!

I needed a case for my brushes ......... hi ho Craig's list away!

    1Case1-2.jpg 1Case2.jpg 1Case3.jpg

These are the sellers pics; I'll post some pics when I hang it and fill it. All the wood on it is one inch thick and not 3/4 of an inch, so quite beefy.

    Not bad for $15.

    :)

Hmm, nice, good price, real wood!
Will look nicer when loaded up with all those brushes of yours. Will they all fit? Waiting for pictures.......:)

Earlier this week: 100 Astra SP to my collection.

Nice idea about the fishing tackle box from a member on this forum (can't remember the name off hand, but thanks!)
