As someone who strops blades in fancy stuff, I wouldn't think so. Between the Tungsten steel and the titanium coating, I would think you would need a diamond medium to affect them. The shake sharp razor claimed to use a diamond impregnated hone in their razors, the second gen versions at least. I can't imagine anything else that could do it.
Was digging out five blue blades from my stash to put in a U.S. Govt. Case and blade bank for another member, when something caught my eye... Pretty sure it's almost full. I don't even remember when I got it. So it looks like when my one blade challenge (with a single Gillette Super Blue Blade) for February is done, (and darn it if the timing wasn't terrible) I'll be joining the cool kids in here.
P-74 [7] WW2 era Simplex tallow bar soap whipped up with a decent brush this time 2 pass BBS, no issues. Nice mild razor, the 74 still feels fine. I towel dry the blade after each shave and hang it on a small hook. a/s: Avon Windjammer
Compared to the Clix E-Z-Flo razor, bakelite baseplate, the 500 feels a bit more aggressive. BBS shaves are no problem and the cap covers the ends of the blade, which I like. Also a heavier handle makes it shine, in my opinion. I'd put it a a medium aggressive razor.
The handle on this razor was originally longer, and heavier. I cut the handle down and put a cap at the end to suit my needs.
the last shave with the p-74 left me with lots of burning.still a good shave but..great blade overall.gonna deep 6 it.19 great shaves per blade is awesome.very impressed.thank you to all those involved.
