Thanks so much. The menthol feeling is quite pleasant actually, for me anyway. It's definitely not as strong as Fine Snake Bite.

This setup is not for the faint of heart, believe me. Rod’s Glacial Electric Sheep soap is such a menthol atom bomb with the same delightful lemon/citronella/eucalyptus scent as the regular version, it’s the first and only Glacial soap with a mutton tallow formula which gives it such perfect lather with so much slickness as well as such wonderful skincare. The Prep and the Snake Bite aftershave were a super duper finish. Three passes with my Canadian Tech/Rapira combo knocked off my tough morning stubble - what a brilliant BBS shave this was!

Broke out my Paradigm Titanium SE. Simpsons "The Duke" brush and Grooming Dept shave soap. Prepped with Grooming Dept preshave and finished off my shave with Nivea after shave balm.

Lustray Spice a/s. I haven't used this stuff in over a year.I had forgot how good it smells,a bit bay rummy.I add a few drops of glycerin and vit e and massage it thru my beard and hair.

Razor : Micromatic flying wing(AKA= MMBT, MMFW, Guiding eye...)- Manufactured 1947-50, nice tame mid range, well built to last many generations with a little care. Excellent shave this morning.
Blade : Gem Personna SS PTFE(2) very sharp, great longevity, smooths out nicely, predictable + safest blade to handle.
Soap : Razorock Santa Maria del Fiore, very nice scent of Vanilla and light tobacco with excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi " Moka Express" 24mm synthetic, excellent lather generator, heavenly cloud like soft tips, gentle splay scrubber + excellent lather painter.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Razorock Santa Maria del Fiore with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results :CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= Excellent shave with my MMBT with a coated Gem blade.
