    I was going to use a straight for a face shave, but decided to go for my most aggressive razor to shave my head with heavy stubble and shave my face with it, too. I will be using my Razorock SS more frequently because I want to use it up as part of my Fitzgerald campaign. I like the soap because it performs well, but it has a neutral scent that I am just ok with it. Anyway, I did a 2 pass face shave without touchups and a 3 pass dome shave with touchups for a BBS shave all around. The alum was silent and there wasn't any alcohol burn from the AV Ice Blue aftershave. I am very happy with this shave. Take care.

    In describing the year of origin for my Simpsons soap yesterday, I had the wrong date, for which I blame Wickhams 1912. Simpsons, of course, came into being 7 years later, same year as Barbasol(1919).

    Castle Forbes "Lavender" is always nice
    Feather Professional DX shavette with a Feather ProGuard blade (4) binned after the shave. Five shaves is enuff
    Custom hand-made bowl made tons of lather with the Perfecto badger brush
    Geo F Trumper is always nice. Applied after the Thayers "Lavender" toner and a splash of Pinaud Clubman to finish the job

    Three more shaves left with this soap. Another excellent three pass shave with the Double Duck. The Strike Gold Minion brush whipped up a very nice lather. I will be sad to see this soap go. That being said, I have three more tub of Lakewood Soap to enjoy.

    Great intro, as always, Joe. I sold my Delta Echo Razors refurbished and cerakoted FatBoy and Slim, although I still have the matching SuperAdjustable. I guess I do have a decent unrefurbished FatBoy that I could use for Fatboy February. I think I will do Favourites February instead.
