I’ve read that Kent is MWF soap as well. Many on the UK shave forums say the consistency between production batches is better with Kent. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Yes...very close to there. My Kent is the orange small pocket comb, but it'd be nice to get others. Thanks.
Sunday, February 26 Day Eight MWF~~DG B14 Washington~~Dovo 91~~Terre d'Hermes Parfum While the DG brush is soft on the kisser, it's not scrubby enough to easily load soap. Note to self: more boar brushes... The Sunday Shaver is so cool and fun to use. Easily removed all traces of stubble. One of the great mens' fragrances, Td'H. This is a flanker, The Parfum. Scuttlebutt says it's closer to the original iteration of the EdT, than today's formulation. Whatever...Primo likey.
February 27, 2023 Leaf Twig Feather Ōku Botiho Mitchell’s Wool Fat Speick After Shave Monday already. Weekends are just too short. A least I was able to get a wonderful shave to start the work week. The shave was quick, efficient and drama free which is just my preference.
Day 5 Didn’t shave at all this weekend, so there was a full 72 hrs worth to mow down. Everything worked as it should. The Goodwill really is a nice shaver.
Monday, February 27 Day Nine MWF~~Simpson "The Hive"~~Fatip Lo Storto/Polsilver SI~~Meehan Bay Rhum Forgot to post last evening. Still going strong with the Fat.
February 28, 2023 Feather AS-D2 Feather Mondial Boar Mitchell’s Wool Fat Speick After Shave Wow, consecutive shaves for the work week. Hanging in there with the Fat. Take care and have a great day.
Day 6 of many, it appears… The good news is that this is a fine soap; the even better news is that it is a small puck.
Oh it’s going. I have several more that will be going too. I just need to take some photos this weekend and post the listing.
I see that they have now released a V2, which they claim to be 'tamer' than the original. Sounds like others have had similar concerns or they wouldn't have bothered.
Day 10 MWF 3017 Days remaining... Unknown... Excellent lather is hiding out in this B5 knot. Possibly the most beautifully designed razor in my den. The Cobra Classic. Today was outfitted with a fresh, Feather Professional blade. I had an epiphany whilst shaving today: The more shallow the angle, the more comfortable and efficient the shave. Stark contrast to my 2011 R41, an aggressive razor and I ride the scallop-bar. Markedly better on my neck. I started the ATG pass on the left side too steep and paid the price immediately. Only misstep in an otherwise stellar shave. Not pictured is my stank, Tom Ford Oud Wood.
