Beauticone Rosewood handle w/Crown blade
2nd use.
Ordered this off the great river and it came yesterday evening . I did a quick shave with it then. Thus the 2nd use blade.
I'll post my impressions of it in the straight section.

Did not know this thread existed. I will have to visit it now and post my shavette shaves here.

Days 4 and 5 of use with the inaugural run of the shavette w/the Crown blade.
face wash and rub with cool water
preshave of Noxcema
frankenmix of maca root cream and dollar shave club cream
2 passes n-s and diagonal
followup with a cool washcloth
blade performanceay four the blade was smooth with audible scritch of the whiskers being severed almost BBS on the cheeks . Day 5 not as smooth and left discernable redness on mycheeks and neck and a splash of Marmara purple a/s burned quite a bit. after this the blade was tossed.Looks like Crown stainless is a 4 use blade on my moderate whiskers.

got a question for you?
The aftershave in your pic , what is the scent?
Is it tobacco flower or pipe tobacco or cigar-ish scent.
I like tobacco scent and wouldn't mind picking up an a/s in that vein.

 

Warm water face wash and rub
Nox rub as a preshave
Yushu cream applied once and let it sit a few minutes and then reapplied,nice and light meringue type foam
Beauticone Shavette w/ 2nd use Crown stainless blade
1st pass n-s
reapplied cream
2nd pass opposite hand diagonal
warm water rinse
cold wash cloth followup
A hi DFS result
Lustray Spice a/s with Vit E oil and Sweet Almond oil added and rubbed thru the hair and beard and shaved areas

I tend to add the oil mix to my aftershave and rub it into my hair.I have long hair and it will frizz around the temples and etc without it.
then out the door for jury duty.

 

It's a tobacco flower scent. Hope that helps!
