It’s a Maggard mixed knot. It’s not as nice as the Semogue mixed knot but it’s much cheaper.

It did break in. Even so I have other boar brushes that are much nicer.

I think I’m seeing some progress on the puck. No sign of the bottom yet, though.
Awesome shave with awesome gear, regardless.

Nice shave with great lather, skillfully created by the DG B14. Wowsers, what a knot!!!
    Bay Rum for the win.

I concluded, that when creating the knot I purchased back then, they flipped MANY bristles upside down. NO WAY these thick hairs were ever going to split/soften.
    I do miss the handle...

Arkadia may be close to Arko in the Dictionary, but that is where the similarities end. A very nice TdH dupe. No rewards for getting to rock a fave scent.

If it weren't for my idiosyncrasies, you guys would have ZERO material. I deserve a percentage.

Happy Tuesday. Early morning shave with an early evening post. This very easily could be my favorite lineup period. Everything just flat works for me. If I do my part, I don't think I could find better tools to work with. I hope everyone has a great day.

Definitely starting to see an indent in the soap.

Another early morning shave with a mid afternoon post. This little boar punches well above its price point. Now that the brush is broken in it is a pleasure to use producing lather with ease. The MWF is a bit of good news and bad news. The good news is that I have used 35 grams of soap. The bad news is that I have 90 grams of soap remaining. I just hope I have this finished before summer vacation. While I like the container, I do find it a bit narrow. I might transfer the soap to a bigger bowl to make loading and lathering easier.

Charlie, can you remember the fellow who loved Karve Razors and did some Stoylin videos? Travelled a lot, as I recall.

Oh, I'm sure it is. As for the video guy, he loved Varen.
