DE SOTD, Sunday, March 26th, 2023 Razor : Yaqi Zephyr with a Yaqi SS dimpled 316 SS handle, Mfg 2023> mild range, excellent design for clamping, smooth as silk roaming over the face, great daily shaver for folks who has sensitive skin issues. One of the smoothest razors I have ever used, very hard to cut yourself, good buffing razor IMO. I bought mine of the trending sale 3 weeks ago. Testing for first shave and it is like others have mentioned already, a excellent mild razor. The razor is accurately injection molded when shaving with both sides shaving evenly + a excellent finish with excellent QC IMO. I will have to try a Kai SS blade extra wide some time this week. Very affordable good razor if a person likes a mild razor with a standard blade IMO, a Kai SS blade extra wide will give it a boost I'm thinking for folks who like a little more blade feel (I will try the Kai SS extra wide blade a try on Tuesday). Blade : Gillette silver blue (3) sharp & smoooth with reasonble longevity. Soap : Razorock American barber, sharp linear unique scent with excellent lather qualities. Brush : Yaqi "Ferrari" bleached boar bristle brush, excellent lather generator, soft split end bristles, nice gentle splay scrubber + great lather painter. Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area. Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups. Post shave : Razorock American barber with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless). Results : CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= excellent shave with my new Yaqi Zephyr razor with a GSB blade. Have some great shaves!

Menthol Monday: A sensational Grand Freeze! L’Oréal Men Expert Facial Wash Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole Junjie/Rapira day 7 Stirling Glacial Citron SS Prep ASB Stirling Glacial Citron AS Splash This Junjie may be cheaper than dirt and it’s definitely on the milder as well as the minimal aggressive side but is it ever terrific and efficient particularly if it’s loaded with a sharp blade like a Russian Rapira. As always Rod’s Glacial Citron soap delivered wonderful lather that turned out so thick, rich, incredibly slick, I enjoyed the gorgeous citrusy scent, the menthol sensation hit me like two tons of frigid bricks, and the postshave feeling was so comfortable. The Prep enhanced the soothing and moisturizing while the Glacial Citron aftershave with the same scent as the matching soap and the intense menthol kick made me smell and feel super duper. Shave of the Week Starting 3/27/2023 Gillette Adjustable razor Treet 7 Days blade Whipped Dog Synthetic brush Speick Shave Stick Palmolive Shave Stick Osage Rub/Witch Hazel w/aloe Assorted A/S Another week of alternating shave sticks. Started with the Speick, got a fine lather and a smooth comfortable shave. Like the scent of the Speick as well. I've used the Palmolive before and kinda figure I know what to expect there. The Gillette/Treet combo is very nice as well, smooth/comfortable/effective which is what I was looking for. My face is happy. Now go enjoy your day folks.
