The Bay Rum is nice. It performs very well...just like all the Stirling soaps but is not my favourite as I find it just a little too heavy with clove

Razor : Gem Junior bar, Mfg 1907-11, mild to tame mid range, well made to last a few more generations with a little care, made from brass sheet stamped and pressed very accurately to form a beautiful looking and functional razor even to accurate standards of today IMO.
Blade : Gem Personna SS PTFE (2) very sharp, great longevity, smooths out nicely, predictable + safest blade to handle.
Soap : Razorock American Barber, sharp linear unique scent with excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi "Red Zebra" 26mm snow leopard synthetic knot, excellent lather generator, heavenly luxury soft tips, gentle splay scrubber + excellent lather painter.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Razorock American barber with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results :CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= excellent shave with my Gem Jr bar with a coated Gem SS blade.

Razor: Gillette Styler

Feeling just awful today. Two of my friends at work both tested positive for COVID. If I had a rapid test I would check myself. Best I could do was to break out my Gillette Styler on setting 0.

Great shave Ron.

I have the same handle that I polished out but I found it too slick. I taped off the ends and bead blasted the middle section.
It gave it at two tone look and made the grip a lot better.

It pars great with my Gillette long comb. It is a great handle.

The handle looks painted and matches the Gillette long comb well when I first looked at it, excellent idea bead blasting for a little more grip and looks different also.
I did not like the look of this handle in photos with my other razor heads but with this Zephyr head the dimpled handle looks OK.
The Yaqi Zephyr is just a different looking razor that shaves smoothly.
Tomorrow I going to slip in a Kai Extra wide, Yaqi did use the old system of locating the blade with slot posts (small ones) and also the 4 corner alignment posts.
Should be a interesting shave and I will use alum on the handle for now if needed!

I always enjoy using this brush. @oscar11 made this in 2013, back when there was not much selection in synthetic knots. The best ones around were in the H.I.S. shaving brushes made by a company that produced makeup brushes. A couple of artisans at the time were willing to extract the excellent knot from the rather plain-looking handle and transplant it into a fabulous handle, like this one by Steve (Oscar11).

Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's, Cold Water Face Rinse./Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse/Homemade (~Spring/Summer mix~) Lemon, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Essential Oils.3 Menthol Crystals Mixed Together With 200ml of Care+Witch Hazel./ Brut Sport Style ASL./Nivea Men Fresh Kick ASB.

The Merkur 34C is a razor that i could easily use for each of my shaves. A close comfortable 2 pass + pick ups shave with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Nivea Men Fresh Moisturising Gel.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine.

The Tabac Shaving Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #224 Synthetic brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Gillette NEW DeLuxe Norfolk and a Gillette Silver Blue SS Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Dickinson's Witch Hazel and Tabac AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
