Same setup as yesterday, still hooked on the Fat!

Day 4 of the Chubby 2. While I like the brush, the knot of ~ 30 mm, the softness on the face from the get-go, and the lathering, I find the handle a bit on the short side. Too chunky to get a good grip.

Day 2 on the Perma-Sharp. Nothing to report.

Took the Gillette Slim for another drive: this time set to #4 for all the passes and clean ups, and seemed to cope fine, especially around the chin...

...except for copping a small nick top left lip, but this cleared up on its own. My own fault for trying to go ATG upper left lip for too long. And so we find our limits.

A/S: Proraso Rinfrescante was refreshing to the skin, but the scent lacks substance/depth/longevity. May just need to splash on a whole lot more.

The Bohemian is definitely a top tier razor. It can hang with any razor in the den a delivers excellent shaves.

Three nice passes and the Fortitude lather was excellent this morning as well.

Nice shave, setup and pic Chris. Proraso aftershave is a great scent. It is true that it's scent is short-lived. Unfortunately, liberally applying the aftershave will not extend the scent life. It is just the way this aftershave is designed. Have a great day.

I wouldn't say the yaqi Mellon cap is a better match, than the original R41 design it makes the razor feel tamer with the same aggression as the original design. What I now think has made the significant difference is the heavier handle which gives it a more balanced feel.

I brought out my Henckels today. It cut me the last time that I shaved with it so it was time to get back on the horse. This razor is über sharp. I honed it in June 2020 and it now has 34 shaves and still going strong. I am continuing my quest to exhaust the Stirling Triump soap and my mission to accomplish this should be by the end of this month. Did a 2 pass shave that was very close and comfortable and there was any bloodshed this time. The alum had slight feedback. Splashed on the Old Spice to finish a wonderful session. Take care.

I know you are aware that you may have to change the settings on your other 2 razors to get the type of shave you want.

Excellent Proraso shave this morning. Three passes with the Union Cutlery razor without incident has my face feeling divine. No issues bole lathering the Proraso this morning. The RazoRock synthetic brush easily assisted I. Produci g a nice slick lather. All good in the Southern den this morning.

Very nice picture and shave set up Chris. I agree with you that the scent of the splash while nice the longevity is lacking and leaves you wanting.
