  1. Very nice write up Chris. Jut curious at to what aftershave did you add to the Arko in the bowl lathering process?
GSB - I have found to give me pleasurable results. Also, I have had much success I. The past with the Gillette 7 O’clock Green.

I know each person’s beard leads to different experiences.

  3. Very nice shave Paul. Let me see if I can wrap my head around this: If you can attach a file to this post, you can attach a picture of this shave. Am I missing something here? Nope.

Come on Paul, throw us gents a bone.

  6. Super Shavette Shave Joe. The Parker shavettes definitely do a fine job mowing the whiskers. I will be taking mine out sometime next week. Have fun in the sun.

I performed an easy 3 pass shave with my Schick l-1 and Arko shave soap.
The razor is very mild compared to my Schick E-3 and I dare say that I prefer the I-1. This is coming from someone who likes aggressive razors. Lol! Oh well, live and learn. Alum feedback was quite minimal for this BBS shave. Splashed on the Old Spice to end this nice session. It seems I am running low on Old Spice and The Aqua Velva Ice Blue aftershaves. I will have to hit my local pharmacy to restock my den. Take care.
  12. Fact is, I don't know what I did to bring up that "Attachment". Like issues with my shaves, the thing just "showed up".

    Shavette Shave # 198

    Rating: 5 / 5

    Razor: Parker SRX
    Blade: Gillette Silver Blue
    Brush: Ever Ready 200T
Lather: Hendrix Classics & Company Bay Rum
Aftershave: PAA Atomic Age Bay Rum
    Additional Care:
    Omega Alum

Excellence repeat shave this morning. I really like the lather and scent that the HC &C Bay Rum soap presents. The scent profile is as follows: “This is a great Bay Rum. Its scent is primarily West Indies Bay Leaf, just like Pirates used hundreds of years ago. There is some orange zest to add depth. No Cloves or other distracting notes, just great Bay Rum.”

The citrus note in the soap makes this very enjoyable.

Hope you all have a great day gentlemen.
