Pearl Flexi adjustable safety razor (setting 4). Astra SP blade (2). Yaqi Bunny 19mm synthetic brush. Mitchell’s Wool Fat soap. Timeless Razor shave bowl. Royal Copenhagen cologne. I figured I better get an adjustable shave in before I get kicked out of the club. Very nice three pass shave with just a hint of alum. The Flexi does a very nice job. The Bunny is a small brush that for me is difficult to hold but it does a great job whipping up the Fat. I hope everyone has a wonderful Resurrection weekend!
Real nice shave this morning with my first Hub City(yes, I plan to buy another before the year is out). "WTX" and C lubman Special Reserve makes for a great soap/A.S. combination. The Hub City soap simply bounces onto the brush. 2 passes-again first a(gainst)the grain, second WITH it. Going South to North makes it easier to go North to South later. No cuts&Polka Dots, 2 Knicks(both at Cactus Nation). Definitely a fine example of "Technique Trumps Tools", as the tools didn't cause the Knicks-my technique did that. The Clubman Special Reserve cane in its now "BREEN" color. What is BREEN. Brown and green. Same great scent, though. Most Outstanding.
I feel the same as you, Danny, as I haven't used Stoylin for quite a while, and I am clearly described aa a "Stoylin fan". I'll be using more of it with future shaves.

MrEE Tuxedo Brush Arko SS Proraso Green AS Stirling Alum Block Beard Growth: 24 hrs I decided to make it a Fatboy Friday shave. I am just loving the Arko this week. This soap just flat out works for me. It is an easy, slick and creamy lather that always gives me a great shave. I rarely cut myself when I use this soap. I did a 2.5 passer and a BBS result was for the taking. Didn't get any cuts or irritation. The alum was mostly silent. The Proraso Green aftershave was very cooling and soothing. Take care guys.
