1. Gold Dollar/Double Arrow 66 Razor. China. They aren't the best made razors, but the steel is usually pretty good. The newer made ones are of questionable steel, but yours is an older one.

  2. Thanks Scott! You have totally right about that the razor is not the best made razors. The scales are not totally aligned so I have to take care closing the razor. Also the head of the spine needs some grinding because it’s scratching the strop. However it shave really good.

  9. Happy Easter gentlemen all,

TI Dominator, soap was MdC rose lathered with a lime Paladin, and a splash of Myrsol Plastic Shave finished up Easter’s shave.

  10. Same razor as yesterday, but with an edge off the new kiita. The stone is as good as it gets, which is unusual for a stone this yellow. Cream was SMN lathered with a zenith boar, AS was Myrsol Agua Balsamica, and a spritz of Floris Special No 127 finished up.

  11. Freshly honed blade(Sundays Blade). It gave a silky smooth 2 pass shave, that left me BBS. It shaves like a Straight Razor, but with the Roller Guard, it was also like a very smooth safety razor. The Roller Guard works ver nicely. Similar to an open comb, but lets more soap get to the blade. Very smooth design. The only drawback is loading the blade, which requires you to be precise.

Razor- Wilkinson Sword "Albert Dunhill 7 day set"(aka Pall Mall)
Brush- @oscar11 Special, with synthetic knot
    Soap- ARKO
    Aftershave- Vintage Avon Spicy

    Saturday Straights' Cold Water Shave

    Cold Water Rinse
Van Der Hagen Luxury Shave Soap
    Jayaruh #41 Badger
    J.R. Torrey
    CWR
    Dickinson's Witch Hazel
    Lustray Spice After Shave

The Van Der Hagen Luxury Shave Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #41 Badger brush. Two passes and touch ups with the J.R. Torrey Straight gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Dickinson's Witch Hazel and Lustray Spice After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
  16. It's good to see that you are still into the Straights. :happy088::happy088:
  17. Cape 1372, cream and AS were Christian Dior Eau Sauvage and a M&F L7 Blonde Badger did the lathering.

  19. Newly Acquired, modern made razor. I had to do a couple hundred laps on the Illinois Strop, to bring the edge out. Before, it barely cut a hanging hair, with multiple attempts. Now, it will cut the hanging hairs, root in, or out, with the slightest touch. Dang scary sharp now. I had a dead silent 2 pass shave, with minor touch-ups around the chin. The result was a BDBS shave. This is a 15/16th inch width blade, and long. I honestly wouldn't want it any larger. I typically prefer Full to Extra Hollow blades, but this 1/4 Hollow does a fine job, and it was comfortable.

    Razor- RigaRazor 15/16th. Latvia
Brush- B-400 By Tom( @twhite ). Omega Boar knot.
    Soap- AOS Kingsman. Bourbon. Discontinued.
