SoD: 'A' is for Adjustable!

Razor : Schick injector adjustable model 3, Mfg 1970-72, excellent adjustable and built well enough to last with some care. The Schick adjustable will take all the different variants of blades that fit any Schick injector. They also take the AC 50mm blades also when modified to length. Have been experimenting with a simple blade hack to smooth the shave a little.
Blade : Personna SS PTFE(3) very sharp, excellent longevity, smooths out nicely + predictable.
Soap : Razorock Fresco XXX, nice clean mild scent(mild mentholated) with excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi "casino clubs" 26mm timber wolf synthetic, excellent lather generator, heavenly luxury cloud like soft tips, gentle splay scrubber + excellent lather generator. The 26mm synthetic brushes are impressive IMO.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG(4.5) + ATG(4.5) + pickups(9setting).
Post shave : Razorock XXX Fresco with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results :CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + 1 blemish weeper= Excellent shave with my Schick M3 adjustable with a modified Personna injector blade.

Sunday Schick shave, February 12th 2023.

Razor : Schick adjustable injector Model 3(M3)- Mfg 1954-57, all range aggression, well designed and well built even from a lot of plastic IMO. The nice thing with this adjustable it has fine settings for skin conditions as they change from the 4 seasons where I live + as my beard ages it also seems a little tougher possibly.
Blade : Personna SS PTFE injector(3) very sharp, great longevity, smooths out nicely + predictable IMO.
Soap : Razorock Don Marco, citrus scent of about 5/10 with excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi "Mysterious space" 24mm Silvertip badger, excellent lather generator, heavenly pillow like soft tips, gentle splay scrubber + excellent painter.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG(3.5) + ATG(3.5) + pickups(5 setting).
Post shave : Italian barber Amici splash with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results :CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers= Excellent shave with my Schick adjustable injector M3 with a Personna coated blade.

Sunday Schick Shave, April 9th 2023

Razor : Schick adjustable injector M3- Mfg 1970-72, all aggression ranges, excellent design, will last generations with a little care, finding the sweet spot angle is easy, recommend using a shallow approach, todays shave was great with no issues.
Blade : Personna SS PTFE injector(5) very sharp, great longevity, smooths out nicely, predictable.
Soap : La Toja stick, mild scent with excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi "Robin" 24mm boar bristle brush, excellent lather generator, soft split end bristle tips, decent splay scrubber + great lather painter.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG(3) + ATG(3) + pickups(3 setting).
Post shave : Fine fresh Vetiver with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers=Great shave with my Schick adjustable injector with a coated Personna blade.

Razor : Yaqi TFC adjustable- Mfg 2021>, nice all range razor, this razor is based off the legendary Gibbs 1930's adjustable razor variants, Yaqi TFC takes standard Gillette blades where the Gibbs took their proprietary blades and is a joy to use. Excellent close shave this morning with no issues.
Blade : Gillette Astra SP (3) sharp and smooth with great longevity.
Soap : TOBS Sandalwood, very nice herbal sandal wood scent 5-6/10 strength with excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi "Lucky dice" 26mm fan brown whiskers synthetic knot, excellent lather generator, heavenly luxury cloud like soft tips, gentle splay scrubber + excellent lather painter. Won this on there live sale many months ago and it is rare to see Yaqi fan knots so it must of been a test specimen and it is wonderful with the big handle, glad I lucked out winning it.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : witch hazel beard cleanse of residual soap + Ogallala Bayrum & sandal wood+ a dollop of Geo F Trumper sandal wood skin food.
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers= excellent shave with my Yaqi TFC adjustable with a Astra SP blade.

I ordered the splash because of the discount associated with the changing labels. I am so glad I also got the soap - they smell amazing. My wife described the scent as retro in a good way. The performance was great as usual from B-M.

Razor : Yaqi TFC adjustable- Mfg 2021>, all ranges, interesting design based off the Gibbs 1930's adjustment design but takes regular Gillette blades. I usually get some nice shaves with this simple razor and it affordable which is even better IMO. Had a close shave this morning.
Blade : Gillette (P&G) Perma sharp(2) sharp and smooth with reasonable longevity.
Soap : Cyril R Salter Wild Rose cream- nice scented rose scent 6/10 with excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi "Casino clubs" 26mm Timber wolf knot, excellent lather generator, luxury cloud like soft tips, nice splay scrubber + excellent lather painter. One of my favorites for sure.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG(3) + ATG(3) + pickups(4 setting).
Post shave : Witch hazel soap residual cleanse + Nivea refreshing AS lotion + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + 2 blemish weepers= Excellent shave this morning with my Yaqi TFC adjustable with a Perma sharp blade.
