Oh maaaan…what a wonderful shave this was. I can say that THIS was THE best Straightrazor shave i had in YEARS. Absolutely fabulous. Smooth and gentle, great weight and balance. What a terrific Razor this is. I shaved in the morning and still have a big fat smile in my face. The soap did a magnificent job, as well as the brush. I smoothed everything out with this fantastic smelling Aftershave. What a great day

What a superb Grand Freeze!

Menthol to the max this morning - this Glacial Strawberry Lemonade soap and aftershave are both so intense. The scent is absolutely gorgeous - to me it’s more towards strawberry but the lemon is still detectable, the tallow formula promotes such awesome lather with super slickness, the menthol sensation is killer cold, and the skincare is A1. The Prep and the Glacial Strawberry Lemonade aftershave were a perfect finish. Three passes gave me a mighty fine BBS shave that was lotsa fun even if I say so myself!

The Tea Tree Body Bar lathered well with the Jayaruh #41 Badger brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Rolls Traveler Razor and a 1953 Rolls Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Dickinson's Witch Hazel and Osage Rub. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Razor : Gem Damaskeene 1912 open comb-Mfg 1912-17, mild to tame mid range, well built to last, very enjoyable razor to use with the Gem PTFE blades. The 1912 model was the most successful Gem ever produced and they sold millions of them. Had a excellent shave this morning.
Blade : Gem Personna SS PTFE (5) very sharp, excellent longevity, smooths out nicely, predictable + safest blade to handle.
Soap : Speick stick, nice mild spiced scent with excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi "red Zebra" 26mm snow Leopard knot, excellent lather generator, heavenly luxury cloud like soft tips, Gentle splay scrubber + excellent lather painter. One of my favorite 26mm synthetic brushes, every thing is great from handle to knot.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Razorock King Louis Lavender with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers= Excellent shave with my Gem 1912 OC with a coated Gem blade.
