24 hr stubble. Early morning pre-work shave.
Razor: Gillette Aristocrat has been calling me for a while now...I gave in.
Blade: Gillette Silver Blue (2), replaced with Astra SP (1)
Brush: Old Vulfix Badger soaked in water while prepping the face.
Soap: Tabac was calling me louder than the April Arko! I gave in, had to try this after it arrived early February.
Bloomed it (@Hembree yes Sir, indeed I did!) I bloomed it well and good. Amazing how much water the bowl and puck took.
It took a liking to my brush and filled it up super-fast.
Bowl lathered, adding water, super rich thick yoghurt-creamy-lather. No tendency to dry out. Smoooooooth!

Pass #1: Ok with the GSB but still draggy, tossed the blade, I will relegate these GSB tucks to the back bench for now.
Pass #2: super slick with the Astra SP.
Pass #3 was merged with clean ups and buffing.

Warm-Water and Cold-Water rinse, didn’t bother with the Alum, straight to the Thayer’s and A/S.

The Aristocrat is a lot safer than many other razors I am trying. More tolerant of pressure which allows for a closer initial shave. Easier to buff with ATG. Very pleasing to use. It has a “Gillette type” feel to it, similar to my Rocket, Rocket HD and Slims. Very nice.

Super clean shave. Right lower neck is improving steadily.
Still trying to figure out the best ATG angles for the top lip.

Love the scent of the Tabac!

Terrific Tabac Shave Chris! I have the Tabac stick and it preforms like Arko. It easy easy to lather. I like the scent, too! With Arko and Tabac, it's a love it or hate it affair among wetshavers. I have the tallow version and assume you have the vegan one. Take care.
