    Shaving recipe for today.

    Prep: Warm shower:/Dove Men+Care Clean Comfort Body + Face Wash.

    Pre:
    Cold wet flannel to my face.
    Pears Original Transparent Bar Soap.
    Brush: Anbbas 24mm Tuxedo synthetic.
    Bowl Lather.
    Bowl: Home Bargains Stainless Steel Side Bowl.
    Lather: Ach Brito Mogno Shaving Soap.
    Blade: Silver Star Super Stainless. (D4)
    Razor: Ming Shi 2000s. (Settings) wtg/xtg 2.5, atg +pick ups 4.

    Post:
    Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's, Cold Water Face Rinse./Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse. /Homemade (~Spring/Summer mix~) Lemon, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Essential Oils.3 Menthol Crystals Mixed Together With 200ml of Care+Witch Hazel. / P&G Old spice Whitewater ASL./Cien Sensitive ASB.

    A wonderful shave from the efficient Ming Shi 2000S to finish my shaving week off on a high note...

    The Silver Star Super Stainless has yet again been a wonderful match with each razor throughout the week especially with the Ming Shi 2000S today still feeling smooth & efficient.

    The Ach Brito Mogno soap is a wonderful performer it gets top marks for it's performance scent protection, slickness & post shave.

    A comfortable 2 pass + pick ups shave with no errors to report. Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Cien Sensitive ASB.

    My face is feeling smooth & smelling divine. ;)

    Thanks Joe, I do love the Tabac. It says "Original" but as you rightly point out its likely not tallow. No matter, for me its up there with MWF.

    Nice neat looking Schick Joe.

    @palmolive fox another great setup and educational write up from the Fox! I am interested in the fact that you started at 2.5 and then went to the 4 setting after that for ATG and pick-ups. I start higher and lower with my adjustables, I might try your method too.

    I am assuming your Tabac is vegan because they stopped using tallow awhile ago If you recently bought it, then it's most likely the vegan version.

    Thanks Chris. As far as my Schick I-1, I won it at the most recent TSD Raffle. I also have an Schick E-3 which is more aggressive which has the Bakelite handle.

    Good afternoon.

    1968 Gillette Slim Adjustable (7th setting)
    Gillette Winner DE Blade (?)
    Rockwell Synthetic Brush
    Arko SS
    Proraso Green AS
    Stirling Alum Block
    Beard Growth: 23 hrs

    I decided to April double theme it by bringing out the Slim Adjustable with the Arko. I had a nice 2 pass shave. The alum was minimal with the feedback and there wasn't any alcohol burn from the Proraso Green. I am looking good and feel refreshed. Tomorrow, I will give my face a rest and shave on Saturday. It will be at least a 40 hr stubble and I want to use one of my cleavers for that shaving session. I may video it and share it with you guys. Have a nice afternoon.

    I have not shaved in a few days so, up for tomorrow!

    I like the Hawk with a Mild blade. Sir Hare is always nice. I sometimes don't use a pre-shave but, since the beard is a few days old, I need all the help I can get!
    Supposed to be in the 80s tomorrow. Been having a cold spell here. I even had snow yesterday!

    Theo says, "Yeah, you are looking scruffy!"

    I get to feed 2 cats this week-end for friends who will be away. I'm told one might charge into the hallway as I ope n the door. I better be careful. My Sir Hare is up next(after tomorrow). The bottom of the puck is clear, the soap surrounds the perimiter(o circumference might be a better word).
