    I believe this is a Simpson from the 50's series, but going by its size and measurements it would be a #54.

    Yes, I know Simpson currently doesn't sell a #54, but the #55 handle is 40mm and the knot is 17mm. This one's handle is 38mm and the knot is 15mm. One thing for sure ..... it's definitely dark caramel.

    Isn't the Case a Berkeley 54? Your brush seems to be right between a Case and a Wee Scot in size.

    Edit: nevermind. The Case is technically part of the Wee Scot series.

    Wednesday mail call is as follows. From eBay I got Cuba Gold aftershave spray. From Maggard Razors I got Dr Jon’s Black River and Rose Of Phrygia shave soaps and aftershaves. IMG_3359.jpeg

    I liked the Schick Super 11 so much, that I thought I would try the Asian version of The Schick Super 11 plus. Worth a try as I recently
    found that my purchases of NOS Ultrex blades have been cancelled by sellers who cannot now ship them to UK ?
