Second Shave with a new edge, with a Flat Stone. It was smooth as the first shave, with BBS results. I was in a hurry, but this razor was still a pleasure to use. Zero issues.

Brush- @Jayaruh #262 Birdseye Maple/Ebony wood, with a Silvertip Badger knot
Soap- AOS Kingsman, Bourbon scented.

My first foray into Injectors:


Razor: PAL Adjustable Injector on 5

Blade: Personne 74 (1)


The first shave was pretty good. I have to get used to this razor and this injector blade. I have an almost endless supply of Personna 74 in the DE variation. The Personna 74 injector blade is stiffer and thicker. We'll see how the shaves go.

Man alive is my face ever frozen solid from this awesome setup. The Glacial Electric Sheep soap’s mutton tallow formula promotes such wonderful lather that has tons of slickness and protection as well as cushion, the menthol sensation is killer cold, and the postshave care is so wonderful. The Prep and the Floid Vigoroso aftershave were a perfect finish. Three passes gave me a dynamite BBS shave that I enjoyed thoroughly!

The Vintage Life Licorice Shave Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #437 Silvertip Badger brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Maggard Slant Razor and a Gillette Nacet Stainless Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Aqua Velva 5 in 1 After Shave Balm. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
