an absolutely stunning shave today... the Bleue Extra, once you've got the 1st shave out of the way, is incredibly smooth, and the Shannon's soap has always been a fantastic performer, with a scent that is simply begging to be paired with something like Beau de Jour.. Fantastic.

Drunken Sailor, I remember those days quite well when I was a young lad in the Navy.

Razor : Yaqi Top aggressive slant razor, Mfg 2019>, aggressive range, excellent slant when I use a steep angle(ridding the bar) with a short handle seems to work well for myself. I enjoy the shave it offers and it also tells me if my technique is good order. I try not to plunk the razor at the start of a stroke because it will bite usually. Todays shave was mostly uneventful with stellar results.
Blade : Gillette 7oClock SP(2) sharp & smoooth with reasonable longevity.
Soap : Ogallala Bayrum & sandalwood, nice Bayrum with a bit of sweetness of sandalwood scents + excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi "orbital ring" boar bristle, excellent lather generator, soft split end boar bristles, great splay scrubber + great lather painter.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic) Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : witch hazel beard soap residual cleanse & Ogallala Bayrum & sandalwood aftershave + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + 1 blemish weeper= Excellent stellar shave with my Yaqi Top aggressive slant with a Gillette 7oClock SP blade.

Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face.
Pears Original Transparent Bar Soap.
Brush: Lider Turkish Boar.
Face Lather.
Lather: Arko Shave Stick.
Blade: Dorco Prime Platinum. (D2)
Razor: Parker 94R.

Post:
Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's, Cold Water Face Rinse./Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse/Homemade (~Spring/Summer mix~) Lemon, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Essential Oils.3 Menthol Crystals Mixed Together With 200ml of Care+Witch Hazel./Arko Comfort A/S Cologne./ Nivea Men Fresh Moisturising Gel.

A relaxing Sunday morning shave.

Another very in-expensive eclectic shave set up where everything paired together wonderfully.

The Parker 94R. / Dorco Prime Platinum is a wonderful match very smooth, sharp and efficient.

A close comfortable 2 pass +pick ups shave with no errors to report. finishing the shave off with a few small dollops Nivea Men Fresh Moisturising Gel.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine.

Damn, is this Citrus Melody ever a delightful soap with a gorgeous scent and the matching aftershave smells just as wonderful. The soap is tallow based, it lathers beautifully, there’s so much slickness, the menthol sensation is so intense that it rivals any of the Stirling Glacials, and it’s so skin friendly. The Prep was so generous with the postshave care, and the Citrus Melody aftershave gave me its own killer cold menthol dose - like all of Fernando’s aftershaves it’s witch hazel based so it’ll never sting or burn you. My Canadian Tech with the Rapira blade breezed through my tough stubble in three swift passes and gave me a super duper BBS shave that I enjoyed immensely!

The Vintage Life Licorice Shave Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #437 Silvertip Badger brush. Two passes and touch ups with the C.V. Heljestrand Lather Catcher and a C.V. Heljestrand Wedge Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Aqua Velva 5 in 1 After Shave Balm. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
