You mean Louuhvl. The correct pronunciation has only 2.5 syllables. But I'm pretty sure that's the other side of the world in the photo.
And that's a wrap for the EJ sandalwood. Thursday, actually. Sorry no pix. A grand total of 124 3-pass shaves from that little puck. Color me impressed. I'll start another 3017 after a bit. First I have a few new things I'm itching to try out. And a few old friends to catch up with.
Day 21 The focus rolls on. Used the Canadian Ball End Old Type the past few days. I think I’ll tuck this one away in the drawer. Too similar to the single ring, even though I do appreciate that it is the Canadian model.
This one was replated by Evan in Nickel. The handle isn’t cracked, which puts it in the minority. One chipped comb tooth, which doesn’t make a difference.
My Single Ring is silver. In great shape too. That’s why I think I’ll keep it in the rotation and take out the Ball End.
shaves really nice.i was quite surprised.my 1911 canadian single ring was rough, though it could have been bent.

Sunday, May 7 AoS Lavender~~Zenith~~1947 Gillette Super-Speed/Platinum~~Tom Ford Tuscan Leather Day Thirteen. Staying the course and making good progress 3017-ing the AoS soap. Lathers like a champ. The Zenith is a great brush with both soft bristles and an ergonomic handle.
May 7, 2023 Hone 15S Simpson CH2 Synthetic Feather MdC Fougère Speick After Shave A catch up post from yesterday. May 8, 2023 Tatara Masumne Tatara Semogue Boar Feather MdC Fougère Speick After Shave Happy Monday everyone! Another weekend that was entirely too short. At least I had a fantastic shave to start the day.
Day 22 Inspired by an ‘Old Type’ conversation with Gary to reach for my Single Ring. Not as smooth as the later NEWs, but still a good shave.
