Second run with the S3S which was better. I added the Weber Classic handle which added a little weight and length. It seems to handle a better and is not head heavy now even though the razor weighs in at 4.8 ounces.

I dropped the angle down like a normal razor and it made a difference. I had read somewhere that the S3S likes a steep angle but I found today that was not the case. The alum was better today but not where I would like it to be. The razor is very smooth and efficient. I cannot hardly tell any difference between the open comb and solid bar side.

Overall I like the razor and it is getting better as we get to know each other.

The Fat was awesome this morning but probably would have been better if I would have had Joe the Lather Master whip it up.

I decided to use this shaver because I haven't used it since last October. I bought this one from someone in NYC on EBay. I have another Aust, but I bought that one brand new from Maggards. Looking at my records, I have only used it 12 times in almost 3 yrs to the day. It shaved very well for me today so I should bring it in my regular rotation.

The TSD produced a decent lather.



Although the pic shows that it is a creamy lather, it is not voluminous and borders on being translucent, however, it is slick enough for me.

Did 2 error-free passes for a near BBS shave. It would be BBS if I would do a half pass on the neck. However, I don't always chase the BBS, especially when I am not going anywhere important. Lol!
The alum feedback was negligible so the shave was smooth and comfortable. Splashed on the matching aftershave to top the session. I am happy with the shave.. Take care.
