  1. Thanks for the tips Joe, have a great Saturday!
  2. Nice work this morning. It goes without saying that a warm-ish shave soap in the summer must be accompanied by a cool menthol A.S. Course that's only for seasonal shavers like the man writing this. Success on the cheeks&sideburns(although I hate to admit to having ingrown hairs in the middle of each cheek). Both ends of Porcupine came out well. I had 2 Knicks on Cactus DURING the shave, but the cold-water rinse and aftershave took care of THOSE persuasions. I think it was a post by @Primotenore that said, in effect, forget the DURING, concentrate on the AFTER. Good advice. I did miss a little on the top side of Cactus(near the jawline), on which I will focus tomorrow. The earlier mentioned aftershave was Mennen Skin-Bracer, which felt real nice. Topped it off with Passion 4 Men cologne. Solid ending to a 2-pass shave. Most Outstanding.

  11. So I picked up some vintage skin bracer at the antique shop. Having a hard time guessing the age of this juice is. Wanna guess maybe late 50s early 60s. Also found a 1940s old spice mug. Didn’t buy it because I already have one.

I did a 3 pass shave because I just made more than enough lather and I just like this scent very much. On the second pass, the edge was slightly tuggy so I refreshed it on my pasted strop. Ah, that was much better. Lol! Got a microweep. but it disappeared on its own, and I attribute it to the slight tugging from the edge. I did get a nice comfortable and close shave.

I was going to hold off doing a headshave until tomorrow, butI decided to do it because I have 3 days of Turf. Also, I wanted more of that scent. Lol! Because I was just planning on doing a face shave, I just made enough or so I thought.

Obviously, my residual lather was not very voluminous, but still slick enough to get the job done. I used the Mühle R102 (R41) with a fresh Gillette Wilkinson Sword Blade. I only needed 2 instead of my usual 3 passes with touchups.
My posts have alum treatment had very little feedback. Splashing the matching aftershave and spraying the matching EdT had a hypnotic effect on me. My den smells wonderful too. Lol! Take care.
  13. That's a nice pickup Myles. It may be early 1940's, but that's only my guess. You are just shy of 2 yrs in the Marine Corps. I am proud of you my friend. Stay well.

  20. Very nice Joe. Halloween is still a few months away and I thought you were not a fan. Just wondering why you got into a microwave facial costume?
