1. I can see the writing on the wall as far as buying more vintage razors goes. I haven't even received the razors that I've just purchased, and I'm already back on the eBay vortex. Nothing can stop it.:)

Now I'm thinking I'd like some way to stand them on end in the medicine cabinet. My wife has already cleared out much of the medicine cabinet in anticipation, or resignation to the inevitable. I'm thinking maybe a 10"x4"x1.5" piece of nice wood that I could drill holes in the top of. The cabinet is 4.5" deep. If the holes were offset, I think quite a few razors would stand up.
Maybe you guys have better ideas...

My brother in law found a place that does 3D printing of modular stands. This is his setup. You can also specify the size opening you need for your brush handles. I can get the info if anyone is interested.

Edit: and this is my setup. It's usually more organized. I added a bunch of stuff to it, and then was digging around in it yesterday, and didn't straighten it up. It's a rare look at the reality behind this hobby.

Got a tote or two up in the attic too. That's what 20 years of hording shaving stuff will do to you.

I threw my wife out of our big bathroom for non-payment of rent. The only time she is allowed in is to go to her closet & to clean the bathroom.
Also inventory is checked before & after she leaves. [IMG][IMG]

@stuartganis :happy088: super duper Stuart, we get a hint of your stash in the corner of your pictures in one of your other Gillette threads, but it is very nice to the see the whole lot displayed like that.

  15. Lovely Steve, neat solution, giving me some ideas.

    Very classy, thanks Herm.

Question: how many of us with vintage razors actually store them in their original boxes/cases every day? My few razor cases are stored elsewhere, couldn't be bothered with returning the razors every day. I guess each way has it pros and cond.
