Awesome Monday shave to get the work week started. I was on vacation last week and I'm envious of y'all retired folks. I think I could get used to the retired life.

Awesome three pass shave and the first run with the Silver Blue blade. The Silver Blue performed very nicely.

It's Micromatic Monday so it was time to bring out my MMOC. I am on my 6th use of this cheap GEM knockoff blade and it still going strong. It's nice to have a stand to show off the razor. By the looks of my tub, the funeral for this soap is before the end of this week.
Here's my lather:



I just love how easy it is to make a slick and creamy Stirling lather. It makes shaving so much fun for me.
Did 3 passes to get a near passing the cotton ball BBS test. Did get slight alum feedback. Splashed on the Stirling F and M aftershave to end this nice session. Take care.

 

I think you either need a bigger brush or a smaller bowl.

Absolutely beautiful morning so prior to my shower and shave I took a 30 minute around the Village of Port Jefferson. I decide to do my X3 Bar Push workout this afternoon in the hopes of getting my son to join me. He did! He will be a work in progress.

This morning’s shave was nothing less than stellar. An almond size scoop of soap yielded a huge amount of lather that would be sufficient for two shave or a face and doom shave. This stuff is just unbelievable. Unfortunately, it is no longer in production.

The usual three pass shave has left my face super smooth and irritation free. At the time of this posting nine hour have quickly passed by. The smoothness factor is probably an 8 out of 10 with a slight scruffiness in the sideburn area. The missus will be happy.

Superb results today Chris. I would not worry about trying to match Joe’s, @Trigger, lather. Produce what works best for you. Besides he has not divulged his secret recipe. He has it in the vault.
