  1. I am glad that the air quality is improving. I can only imagine how bad it has been.

Another great shave to start the day. I am going through the MdC at a pretty quick pace. I will be leaving at home later this month when we take an extended trip.

Happy Friday!!! I really like the Hone 15s. I love the design and it delivers great shaves. I have 53 grams of soap left so I would guess around 25 shaves more or less to knock this thing out.

  4. What a beautiful picture, Clint. Love your outdoor shots.
  5. Thank you Jason. I’ve gotten lazy about outdoor photos. The rock garden is right off the patio. I was having an adult beverage and thought an outdoor picture would be nice.

  6. Since this puck of QCS is old there is very little scent left, plus it also makes a great base for a super lather. Since the weather is getting hot I decided to add AoS Peppermint shave cream to the mix. When opened the tub I was suprised to see what progress I made... so I will add the AoS and titanic the AoS Peppermint and QCS together.

Friday's shave featured my smiling JWest SK-3 and Shavemac brush. Saturday's shave was smiling 6/8 Riga Razor and a Zenith boar brush. The lather both days was 'super'.

Nothing new to report here. Just continuing to knock out the Mdc soap. I can safely say the Myrsol will outlast the MdC.

AoS Lemon~~Simpson Emperor 3~~RazoRock Game Changer .84/Sharp Star
    Day Seven
Returned from our vacation and was in desperate need of some thorough personal hygiene.
    Began with a
previously-used Sharp Star and it was quite dull, so swapped it out for a new one.
    Much better.
The AoS Lemon is no softer than when I left, but it is also not as rock-hard either.
I continue to load directly from of the tub (something that would be unheard of with a fresh tub of this product)
The lather is---as usual, quite slick and protective.
Eschewed the stank, rather opting for some Nivea ASB. I do not care for their latest iteration, and will not re-purchase.
  11. I had you keeping the Peppermint. Shux.

    AoS Lemon~~TSN X LE~~Feather AS-D2/Sharp Star~~Terre d'Hermès Parfum
    Day Eight
Not much to remove, so I chose a razor with a smaller blade gap.
Don't be fooled, however, the AS-D2 will cut you just like every razor will*
    No cuts today.
Homage to the defunct TSN, with this LE
    brush.
Smelling great with the TdH Parfum.

    * that statement is, of course, ridiculous. It is the BLADE that cuts you NOT the razor.
    Sorry for that cray-cray statement.

  14. Oh, good :). Actually I meant that for someone else.

  15. Monday back to work shave, QCS only, no super lather today. Drew Dick smiling 6/8, Varlet brush and Tabarome had me smelling nice.

Wow, I had a rough weekend. Our hot water heater burst and flooded my wife's craft room. In addition to getting the repair done, it was a real hassle getting all the water up out of the carpet and the drying process started. At least it's Monday and I can get back to regular work. I decided to breakout the OneBlade. This particular razor can use, Gem blades with just the spine removed. This makes one of my favorite razors even better. This OneBlade delivers me an idiot proof fantastic shave and that's exactly what I needed this morning.
  17. Wow, sorry to hear about the water, Clint. Hope not much was damaged.
  18. The carpet is dry now. I still have the industrial fan and dehumidifier running.

More bad news. I think the downstairs AC is out as well. At least interior fan is not working. Just damn. If I thought about it too much I would cry. :angry032: I am thinking a bourbon might help and certainly would not hurt.
  19. Agreed. I will join you later for one when I get home.

  20. New 3017
After a week of playing with some triple milled soaps, I’ve decided on my next Titanic focus.

Tomorrow, I’ll be using the PAA Et Tu soap. I’ll pair it with Brut, the Et Tu splash, Maol Heliopteris and/or whatever Fougere (or not) I decide to.

There will be a few lake shaves here and there and I won’t take this tub out there, so it may be a little less religious than my usual focuses. Whenever I’m home, this soap will be used.

Looking forward to jumping back in.
