Razor : Razorock German 37 slant - Mfg 2016> mid range, its a good starter razor when I bought it in 2018 and was the first razor to get a true BBS shave with GSB blade. Still a great razor for its price point (affordable) and will still deliver a close shave 6 years later (some blade tap overhang). Had a close comfortable shave with no issues with this interesting torqued type slant.
Blade : Gillette Perma-sharp(4) sharp & smooth with great longevity. Top tier blade IMO.
Soap : Speick stick, nice mild spicy scented soap with excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi "Club Casino's" 26 mm Timber wolf synthetic, excellent lather generator, luxury cloud like soft tips, nice splay scrubber + excellent lather painter.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Ach Brito Lavanda with witch hazel + a dollop of Geo F Trumper Sandalwood skin food.
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers= excellent shave with my RR German 37 slant with a Perma-sharp blade.

Doc Fine appears to be blending in the "old" with the "new". I have one of his "new", which says "21st Century" on the bottle, not like your Platinum.

I keep debating whether to keep this Hawk ‘Jaws’ in the den. I find it a rough feeling shaver that never bites and gives good results in 2 passes. Still thinking about it.
