Pears with Mint Extracts Transparent Bar Soap.
Brush: Omega 49.
Face Lather.
Lather: Razorock " What the Puck?!" 'Lime Burst' Shaving Soap.
Blade: Mers Super Shave X Platinum. (D4)
Razor: Parker 55SL Semi-Slant.

Post:
Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's, Cold Water Face Rinse./Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse. /Homemade (~Spring/Summer mix~) Lemon, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Essential Oils.3 Menthol Crystals Mixed Together With 200ml of Care+Witch Hazel./Yelken Lemon Eau De Cologne Spray./ Aloe Vera Cooling Gel.

A smooth enjoyable shave to finish my shaving week off wonderfully.

Both the Parker 55SL / Mers Super Shave X Platinum duo have performed admirably through the week with no issues.

Nice Throwback Thursday shave. The Gillette Foamy is getting close to throwOUT time, and I'll look for a colder can(Barbasol Pacific Rush comes to mind). But it was a great setup for the shave itself. No Cuts, Knicks, Polka-Dots..always a good sign. One pass. Gabels always puts out good aftershaves, and the Lime is no exception. . Super Duper Outstanding.

33 hours late afternoon shave

Prep = usual but with cold tap water (hot water system is down for a few days)
Cream = Tabac: bigger dollop than yesterday
Brush = Old Vulfix
Bowl = my old porcelain bowl. Tabac cream lathered up easily even in this smooth bowl
Razor = Muhle R89, old trustworthy for this cold water shave
Blade = GPB (2) still fine
3 passes and a few clean ups

ATG on the top lip was less comfortable with cold steel
One minor weeper in my trouble spot Rt lower neck
Post = cold water, Thayers, Brut. No Scent today

Cold steel on cold face = a “different” feel
Is it better? Not yet I don’t think. I least I know it can be done
Good result, not the best, but fine all the same

Hopefully gas leak and Hot Water are back tomorrow

Excellent shave this morning. The Ikon Deluxe is an amazing razor head....a remake of the Gillette New Deluxe. I have a New Deluxe and I think the Ikon shaves a little smoother but don't tell Gary @brit .

It's still very warm on Long Island and I am glad that I decided to use Cryogen all week. I picked out my very sharp Friodur straight for today's shave.
I went a little overboard on my lather, but that is ok because I covered whatever I didn't use for tomorrow's shave. Here is the lather:



Did a 3 passer because I had more than enough lather and the über menthol coldness was what I needed. I achieved BBS, but did get 2 micro weeps. One just below the color portion of my bottom lip and one on my lower side chin above the jawline. Hit it with cold water after my first pass and hit with the alum to erase any trace. They really were tiny that cold water would have suffice, but I sometimes like to use the alum during the shave. After the shave, hit my face and neck with the alum and there was some slight feedback. Finished this shave with the cooling Proraso Green aftershave. Since I ran out of the CF Cryogen aftershave, I noticed that the menthol affect is not as strong and that is to be expected. Still, I am happy with the shave. Take care.
