  1. Thanks Joe,

    Plenty, yes? I have a few Stirling samples too, but not everybody offers samples, right?
    Anyway I would have to take to shaving 3x per day to start making a dent on those I have.
    And I always thought my wife was the impulsive one, oh dear.:innocent:lyrtuy5:

  2. 17 Jul 2023
    31 hours pre work shave

    Prep = my usual prep: Hot Water soaks and Proraso preshave
    Soap = Proraso Green, it's nice, but time for a change next time, methinks.
    Brush = Omega 49
    Bowl = Timeless
    Razor = Gillette 1950s rocket
    Blade = Gillette Rubie (1)

    Passes: 2 passes, mixing up the XTG both ways in both passes, and including buffing within each pass, easier to do with this nice little razor, limited ATG needed

    Post = usual post clean up/Brut/Proraso ASB
    Scent = Guerlain Pour Homme

    Score = 9/10 no damage, minimal left over
    The Rubie felt smooth and efficient and combined well with the Rocket for a wonderful, comfortable shave

    Another week is upon us!

  5. Fine Menthol Monday shave this morning(we can thank Osage Rub for the menthol). The combination of the Stoylin soap and unnamed brush worked wonders for me. No cuts and polka-dots, one Knick(North Porcupine Alley), which was well controlled by the Osage. I reached bottom of the Stoylin soap, but still a long way to go. Let's clarofy that: I saw a TINY BIT of the bottom. Well done down at Cactus. Osage was great as usual, and a nice finish from the Hallston cologne. Super Duper Outstanding.

    Day is in store for this member of the MOLC. I had my usual early morning X3Bar workout followed by an exhilarating dip in the pool. Afterwards, a warm shower and three pass shave. It has been well over a month since I have used the MMBT however I was rewarded with a superb shave. I expect nothing less from my Micromatics.

    Stay cool gentlemen.

  18. Hi fellas....I can't go back far enough t0 find my original post about how Wet The Face sent me a different soap than what I ordered. To refresh, they sent a Glacial when I ordered their new Bay Rum soap. I'll make a long story short....Don Youngner at WTF gave me two options: Keep the glacial and pay the cost for the Bay Rum, or ship back the Glacial. I'd get the B ay Rum in either case. I chose the latter. Tomorrow I'll do just that-send back thd Glacial. The Bay Rum arrived today. I was a little annoyed at his reasoning for sending the Glacial in the first place. The two soaps got switched, as I am on record at WTF for purchasing the Bay Rum. All is over now(well, except for me shipping the Glacial back) It appears he recalled when I ordered a Glacial last year, which confused him. I'll end here before confusing you guys, including myself.
