SE SOTD, Tuesday, December 13th 2022 Razor : Schick injector adjustable model 3, Mfg 1970-72, excellent adjustable and built well enough to last with some care. The Schick adjustable will take all the different variants of blades that fit any Schick injector. They also take the AC 50mm blades also when modified to length. Have been experimenting with a simple blade hack to smooth the shave a little. Blade : Personna SS PTFE(3) very sharp, excellent longevity, smooths out nicely + predictable. Soap : Razorock Fresco XXX, nice clean mild scent(mild mentholated) with excellent lather qualities. Brush : Yaqi "casino clubs" 26mm timber wolf synthetic, excellent lather generator, heavenly luxury cloud like soft tips, gentle splay scrubber + excellent lather generator. The 26mm synthetic brushes are impressive IMO. Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area. Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG(4.5) + ATG(4.5) + pickups(9setting). Post shave : Razorock XXX Fresco with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless). Results :CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + 1 blemish weeper= Excellent shave with my Schick M3 adjustable with a modified Personna injector blade. Have some great shaves!

The nice thing with this adjustable it has fine settings for skin conditions as they change from the 4 seasons where I live + as my beard ages it also seems a little tougher possibly. Blade : Personna SS PTFE injector(3) very sharp, great longevity, smooths out nicely + predictable IMO. Soap : Razorock Don Marco, citrus scent of about 5/10 with excellent lather qualities. Brush : Yaqi "Mysterious space" 24mm Silvertip badger, excellent lather generator, heavenly pillow like soft tips, gentle splay scrubber + excellent painter. Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area. Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG(3.5) + ATG(3.5) + pickups(5 setting). Post shave : Italian barber Amici splash with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless). Results :CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers= Excellent shave with my Schick adjustable injector M3 with a Personna coated blade. Have some great shaves!

Brush : Yaqi "Robin" 24mm boar bristle brush, excellent lather generator, soft split end bristle tips, decent splay scrubber + great lather painter. Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area. Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG(3) + ATG(3) + pickups(3 setting). Post shave : Fine fresh Vetiver with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless). DE SOTD, July 6th 2022 Razor : Yaqi TFC adjustable- Mfg 2021>, nice all range razor, this razor is based off the legendary Gibbs 1930's adjustable razor variants, Yaqi TFC takes standard Gillette blades where the Gibbs took their proprietary blades and is a joy to use. Excellent close shave this morning with no issues. Blade : Gillette Astra SP (3) sharp and smooth with great longevity. Soap : TOBS Sandalwood, very nice herbal sandal wood scent 5-6/10 strength with excellent lather qualities. Brush : Yaqi "Lucky dice" 26mm fan brown whiskers synthetic knot, excellent lather generator, heavenly luxury cloud like soft tips, gentle splay scrubber + excellent lather painter. Won this on there live sale many months ago and it is rare to see Yaqi fan knots so it must of been a test specimen and it is wonderful with the big handle, glad I lucked out winning it. SOTD Fougere Friday I ordered the splash because of the discount associated with the changing labels. I am so glad I also got the soap - they smell amazing. My wife described the scent as retro in a good way. The performance was great as usual from B-M.
