July 23, 2023 Asylum Rx V2 Okū Kai Captain Titan Mild SV Felce Aromatica Shave Soap & Aftershave Happy Sunday Everyone. We had a blast at the Farmers Market yesterday. Greyson had a blast meeting other dogs and he was truly wiped out with all the new sights, sounds and smells. Back with the Asylum Rx V2 this morning. I was reading other forums for hints on how to tame this beast. Someone mentioned riding the bar instead of the top cap. That tip made a huge difference for me. This morning was by far the best shave I have with this beast of a razor. The SV Felce Aromatica continues to impress which is a good thing since I believe this 3017 will take a long time. Sunday, July 23 Klar Kabinett~~Simpson CH2~~Gillette New LC/Feather~~West Indies Bay Rum Day Eight. Moving through this soap faster than I anticipated. Keeping it hydrated allows for great loading. The CH2 doesn't see much use, but it's a fav and I have to say, a looker, as well. Feather still going strong, although we're fast approaching end of days. The Bay Rum is also a favorite. Nice stank.

July 24, 2023 Asylum Rx V2 Shavemac Synthetic Kai Captain Titan Mild SV Felce Aromatica Shave Soap & Aftershave It is Monday already. Weekends are just too short. At least I was able to get another great shave with the Rx beast. I did get one boo boo above my lip by sitting the razor down to quickly. The beast still punishes poor technique. I hope everyone has a great day.

Dogs at a Farmer's Market. Reminds me of one of my many father-son walks to a local market to get the newspaper and perhaps other stuff(I was the son-probably around 4 or 5). Someone was there with his dog, and suddenly a truck carrying donuts pulled up so many that some fell off the truck, and the dog had himself a nice breakfast snack. I think he knocked back three or four. Funniest thing I had ever seen. I still chuckle when recalling it.
Monday, July 24 Klar Kabinett~~Semogue 2012 SE Mistura~~Gillette New LC/Feather~~Royall Lyme Day Eight (I think...) As you can see, the donut hole is ever-expanding. The Semogue 50-50 Badger/Boar made short work of the load and lather... new "catch phrase", perhaps?) Last shave with the Feather. Good, but 10 years in traditional wet-shaving has taught me a thing or two. Got a few weepettes on the neck...nothing that the Royall Lyme couldn't alleviate.
