  [*]Result: Nice, nice, BBS shave today without blood or irritation. Got the Made Rite Brush for $3 in an antique store. It may be part of a travel set due to it's small size and shape. But it did make nice lather. Had to relather for each of my 3 soap passes due to small size of brush. Not a problem really. The lather from the Ye Olde Barbershop soap was very nice and has the great barbershop scent.

The R89 has a nice heft and comfortable grip. It is head heavy-- so very little pressure needs to be exerted for a BBS.

Skin felt too oily after an hour. Had to wash the face.
Cologne: T&H 1805

 

I cant imagine why? If I use Med Citrus Splash....thats it. You already have to watch yourself with the amt and it really does moisturize enough. Any balm would be overkill.
