  [*]Result: A great, smooth BBS shave with no blood. The wonderful scent of the Gardenia shave cream was a great start to this busy Saturday. The Pella was on its last legs today, not because it was really worn out but it has seen 7 shaves and that will do for this blade.

This morning's shave...relatively unscented as we delivered an educational program featuring Hannibal, our Turkey Vulture! I really didn't want him to throw up on me!!! :sick007

Having around a 4-day growth , I figured the open comb Merkur was the way to go. I was right--4 passes with NO irritation, and a very near BBS (would have been if I did a touch-up pass).

The MWF lather is exceptional, with SUPERB cushion and good lubricity. The Omega Pure held plenty of luscious lather throughout 4 passes! Smooth and mild razor/blade combo, with no irritation and NO ALUM STING! Excellent skincare topped off with the Zirh Soothe, which is comforting and moisturizing if a bit "greasy" immediately following the application. This absorbed well, and left me with a soft and smooth face for our little "show" at a retirement community!
