Friday, August 4 Klar Kabinett~~Simpson 57 "The Douglas"~~dubl duck Goldedge~~Royall Lyme While I haven't quite finished the KK, I did manage to 3017 the Royall Lyme. The dd sings whilst it shaves. A beautiful scraping tune. Nice shave--no issues. The Douglas is a treasure. Fantastic knot.
Thankfully Snake Bite soap is refreshingly pleasurable to use. Were it not for Williams Wednesday and ‘Fat Friday, I’d be getting a little bit know what I mean?
Saturday, August 5 Klar Kabinett~~Hucklaration B5~~Barbasol FH/Spoiler~~Royall Muske The end is nigh for the KK. Today's shave was an all-around winner. The B5 knot is quite dense. They're quite popular, but I prefer knots with better "flow-through" To each his own. The Floating Head is a heavy beast. Possibly the heaviest razor in my arsenal. Loaded with a Gillette Spoiler, quick work was made of the 24 stubble. Finished with another "made in Bermuda" offering from Royall Lyme Ltd. I stank like I just walked out of the barbershop.

Day 10 Ended up back at the lake spot for the past 3 days. Just my son and I…Mrs Spartan and our daughter Ava were south of the border in Spokane for a dance competition. Back in the den now. I hadn’t shaved for a full 72 hours…Yeesh. Still no problem for this awesome combo. I love the NEW LC. I’ll be shaving a little more regularly now, and hoping to follow along a lot better.
Clint, for some reason I thought you mainly used Feather blades in a DE. Have you gone away from them? Just mixing it up more?
I do use Feather blades most of the time. I have found I also like 7 O’clock Black and Yellow. I’m trying to mix them in the mix more often. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Sunday, August 6 Klar Kabinett~~Simpson Persian Jar 2~~1947 Gillette Super-Speed/Spoiler~~Royall Muske This soap'll be 3017'd before the end of the week. Never have had a bad shave with the '47 SS. Such a great tool. The Spoiler is still going strong. I don't have a limitless supply of them. One of my favs. Royall Muske for the finish.

Day 11 Canadian NEW LC w Polsilver (2) Omega Evo / Burl&Resin Asylum/SV Colonia SS & AS Thayers The splash will definitely be gone well, well before the soap. That’s ok…lots of stuff pairs well with it.
