Lovely 2,5 pass shave. The soap is stellar. Scent and performance are absolutely top notch. Wonderful. Bay scent with light but detectable Citrus notes. Fantastic.

My second time using this Green Ice soap and aftershave from Captain Nemo and I think they’re a couple of treasures. The scent is a beautiful blend of vetiver and lime, it lathers so awesomely, there’s a pretty strong menthol sensation, and it gives such a comfortable postshave feeling. The Prep and the Green Ice aftershave finished the job superbly. Last but not least the Proraso Cypress Vetiver cologne smells delightful - it compliments this soap and aftershave so well. Three glorious passes gave me a cracking good BBS shave that was such a pleasure!

The Old Spice Original Shave Cream lathered well with Tom's B400 Two-band Badger. Two passes and touch ups with the C.V. Heljestrand Lather Catcher Razor and a C.V. Heljestrand Wedge Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Dickinson's Witch Hazel and then Lilac Vegetal. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Sunday Schick shave, August 13 2023

Razor : Schick adjustable M3, Mfg 1970-72, well built to last with some care, I receive excellent shaves with this razor and it seems to be blade forward even on setting #1. Had a great shave & haircut this morning with no issues.
Blade : Personna SS PTFE (8) sharp and smooth with great longevity.
Soap : Razorock XXX Fresco, nice clean XXX scent with excellent lather qualities. Good deal when on sale IMO.
Brush : Yaqi "Deep stones" 24mm black synthetic, excellent lather generator, cloud like soft tips, gentle splay scrubber + excellent lather painter.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG(3) + ATG(3) + pickups(4 setting).
Post shave : Razorock XXX Fresco AS with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= excellent shave with my Schick injector Model 3(M3) with a Personna coated blade.

If this setup doesn’t freeze your face off then nothing will because it’s so damned intense. My dear brother Fernando whipped up such beautiful winners with this Frosted Lavender soap and aftershave. It’s the most gorgeous lavender scent I’ve ever experienced, the soap is a tallow based treasure with magnificent lather that has so much slickness, the menthol sensation is so potent that it easily matches any of the Stirling Glacials, and it’s so soothing for sensitive skin. The Thayer’s Lavender witch hazel has very little scent but it feels so good, and the Frosted Lavender aftershave is also witch hazel based so it never stings or burns, it has the same delightful scent as the soap, and it freezes like there’s no tomorrow. Last but not least the beautiful Bleu de Chanel fragrance and I’m going to kick some ass at the golf course today. Three passes did me proud - another brilliant BBS shave that was fit for a king!
