  1. I am sly all year round and usually don't wear a hat in the winter. However, If it is below 0 Celsius (32 F), then I wear a cap.

  8. Great looking setup, Gary. I am not familiar with the kcg blades. Where are they made? Any blades they are similar to?

  11. Ah. And what about the new Gillette razor? How does it compare to a Tech or one of the British flat bottoms? (Asking for a friend, of course...)

  12. Great shave this morning. I just wish I could have enjoyed it better, as the chill of the morning was giving way to the heat&humidity. Fine's "21st Century" soaps work real well with a good solid brush. I used very warm water, too. Always a benefit. The only glitch for this shave was a minor cut along the jawline, as I ws doing my "ice-chipping" there. Usually that isn't an issue, but it was today. The feature I like about this Knize 10 clone is that the leather is on the cool side. By that, I'm talkinabout WEATHER, not as in"far-out, groovy".. This could be an all year shave. Might even re-order both(soap&A.S.)when I need to). Super Duper Outstanding.

I decided to go with one of my fav setups for this afternoon's shave. I had an epic shave this session. I will explain later. The Music City Suds is always a hit with me. Here's my lather:

Honestly, I could have stopped after 1 pass. This is the 19th shave on this blade and it still shaves like a champ. Three passes gave me an error-free BBS pass the cotton ball test shave. Yes, this was an epic shave. However, the alum feedback was more than my usual. Splashed on the matching aftershave and I am happy as all get out with this session. Take care.
  16. Thanks Gary
