August 23, 2023 Greencult GC 2.0 Plate #2 Gillette Nacet Zenith B29 Boar SV Felce Aromatica Shave Soap & Aftershave Happy Wednesday. My business associates were not at all pleased that I came into work yesterday while still somewhat sick. So I am working from home today which is probably a good idea since my head is killing me. At least I was able to get the day started with a fantastic shave to start the day. I decided to buy some Nacet blades during a sale from Italian Barber. First impressions are good. I am thinking the soap will be done in the next 2 to 3 shaves. Have a great day everyone.
Hope you’re feeling better soon, Clint. I really like Nacets, fwiw. I’ve got a bit of a stockpile as Italian Barber does often have them on sale.
I think I will really like the blades. @FaceScraper Bruce was raving about them so when I saw them on sale I bought 100 of them along with some RR aftershave that was on sale.
Tuesday, August 22 Eufros Tobacco~~Semogue 2012 SE Mistura~~Gillette New LC/Voskhod I am getting slow posting my afternoon shaves in a timely fashion. Decided to move the Eufros into my Aesop SS bowl. Makes for some OUTSTANDING, built "on the puck" lather.
Thank you guys. The folks I work closely with are a little older than me. One has several medical procedure coming up in the next two weeks so he does not want to be contaminated. Covid certainly changed the views on coming into work sick. I am almost as productive at home as I am in the office. I do know the pups are glad I am working from home today.
Congratulations for your granddaughter‘s birthday. That is a classic photo. I hope you’re feeling better soon Clint. We’ve been trying to train our people to not come into the office wonder you’re sick, and that was before Covid.
Wednesday, August 23 Eufros Tobacco~~Declaration Grooming B14 Washington~~Feather DX/Feather Professional Today's shave was, on a scale of 1-10, an 8. No mishaps, but not my best work, either. The lather from the Eufros was, simply put, amazing. The blade was sharp, but Primo's hands weren't in the game. The DX is an awkward S.O.B. ('scuse the vernacular) So there remained some stubble un-removed. Oh well, there's always tomorrow.
August 24, 2023 Feather AS-D2 Feather PAA Shaverite 210 with Mix Knot SV Felce Aromatica Shave Soap & Aftershave Happy Friday Eve!! I feel like I am back in the land of the living this morning. I have already taken care of a couple of work issues before I could shower and shave. A great shave to start what I hope will be essentially a drama free day. At least I can hope. Take care everyone.
-Thursday- #45/kcg simpson palmolive burberry good morning gents. first drive with the aluminum coronation tech damn fine shave indeed fine palmolive lather. though the razor is quite light it was very smooth. i have heard/read that the brit aluminum techs had a larger blade exposure than their brass counterparts. they were only made for a couple of years during this era.(1953-5) aluminum was an exotic metal during '50s britain. awesome have a fine day everyone.

Hi fellas, just checking in. Hope you are all doing well. Clint, I saw that you and your wife were sick. I hope you are both feeling a little better. And Joseph, I saw the adorable pic of your precious granddaughter too! I'm still cruising along with the R66 Cranberry Citrus. I've change my hardware setup again. Brought out The Destroyer in hope that it'll chew up the soap a little faster. Here's the progress I've made so far. Life has been busy the last couple of weeks. The older two boys started school and work had been busy. Also my boss at work got a promotion so I've been preparing to hopefully take over his position. Fingers crossed!
