Joe, et. al., this was my first injector shave of SEptember, on the 1st of course. Apologies for the tardy post. Our weekend has been a whirlwind. I posted once elsewhere last night and am just finding the time now to get back to it. The Asylum Injector is a wonderful tool. It’s smoother than any other Schick injector razor I’ve used. The Asylum seems to work best for me with Chinese Schick blades in the yellow pack and the Japanese proline B-20s. Personnas, not so much. Which is semi weird because my favorite DE blades are Personnas. Whatever, right?

Today I’ll be using an MMOC. Gonna go break it out after one more cup of coffee. Pic later…

Well it is been awhile since I shave an over 40 hr stubble. Sad to say, I got 3 weepers. The Laser blade felt a little rough and I just should have changed the blade. I still have some of these blades left and will only use them in my DE razors. This was the first time that I have had trouble with a blade in a shavette. However, With 2 passess, I did end up with a very close shave. The alum feedback was slight. Finished with my usual postshave routine. For those of you celebrating Labor Day, be safe. Take care.

The unofficial end of the summer called for the Trismegistus to provide a glorious lather and scent. Naturally, I was not disappointed.

The MMOC delivered a super smooth shave. Three passes did the trick without any irritation and crimson.

We had a fabulous day with warm temperatures and bright sunshine for the final BBQ of the year. Also, I took what may have been my final swim in the pool for the season. The pool will be open until the 18th but if the past few years have been any indication I will not taking a dip in the pool.
