I love the carbon fiber scales and the beefy blade, Keith. Beautiful razor, brother! I’m with you and Clint, Jason. My only gelled badger was a whipped dog knot, and it felt slimy to me. Ultimately, I gave it away. Hard to beat a Thater 2-band for soft and pillowy. The ring of death definitely calls for the super goop method, Charlie. As does every day of the week that ends in “y”.
The razor comes with the equivalent on a Supply Co #2 plate. I added the other two plates to my order. Just like the Supply Co I will be using the primary plate most all of the time. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Tuesday, September 5 Eufros Tobacco~~Simpson CH2 Synthetic Badger (2nd Gen)~~Pre-War USA Gillette Tech/Light Brigade This soap is lasting far longer than I anticipated...ergo, the Soap Destroyer is up to bat. This brush is the Bronx Bomber of shave brushes. The Tech flat outs shaves superbly. Of course, all it really did was hold the King of Razor Blades steady.
