@clint64 continues to have the most enviable collection of brushes and razors of most anyone I know. As such, I plan to send him ready-to-pour cocktail mixes and send targeted DM's with pics of overpriced hardware every Friday night in hopes of clearing out my den...

3017-ing a soap that has barely been touched takes a VERY LONG time.

Buying a new razor and comparing it with others in my collection leads me to shoot for a BBS for comparison sake. Shooting for a BBS is always bad. Can you say irritation? Can you say "SLOW LEARNER"?

After a few hundred swirls of the brush while carefully and meticulously adding water in one-gallon increments...





After 3 passes, besides what I cleaned off the walls and ceiling...



I should finish the puck fairly soon at this rate. As a side note, I called my Bride in to view what lather remained after the shave was complete. I don't recall the exact exchange or the context, but the term "dadgum fool" was used. At any rate, I think she was impressed.

I agree, Joseph. I inventoried my stash and figured it was time to live a little.

For starters, I plan to 3017 the open containers then work my through the rest with reckless abandon.

Another solid shave with the Hawk ‘Jaws’…maybe I’ll keep it after all. We’ll see. On that note, what I don’t see is the bottom of this tub…the Mikes focus is not starting anytime soon for me.
