The Williams Mug Shaving Soap lathered well with Jayaruh #446 Badger/Boar brush. Two passes and touch ups with the J.A. Henckels Rapide Razor and a J.A. Henckels wedge blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Dickinson's Witch Hazel and then Aqua Velva Iced Blue AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Razor : Yaqi TFC adjustable- Mfg 2021>, all ranges. Based off the Gibbs 1930's adjustable razor mechanism, well built and uses a standard Gillette blade. I enjoy this affordable adjustable and use it in my large rotation. Had a close comfortable shave this morning.
Blade : GSB (3) sharp and smoooth with reasonable longevity.
Soap : Razorock Santa Maria del Fiore, nice mild tobacco scent with vanilla + excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi :Moka Express" 26 mm Husky knot, excellent lather generator, heavenly luxury cloud like soft tips, gentle scrubber + excellent painter.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Razorock Santa Maria del Fiore AS with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= Had a close comfortable shave this morning with my Yaqi TFC with a GSB blade.

Here my second vacation shave (20.09.2023)


Razor: Hone SS // Blade: Gillette Platinum (2) // Soap: MSC Grapefruit Zest // Brush: Shavemac Synthetic // Aftershave: Ralon

Good shave. First shave with my Hone Razor. Not quite sure if i will keep it, the first shave was completely BBS in 2,5 passes and it shaves very smooth and gentle, but with it´s 160 grams it is a heavy beast. Build like a tank. If this razor slips out of your hand and drops to the floor…my oh my…i don ´t want to think about it…

The soap smells heavenly.As if you cut into a fresh, ripe Grapefruit. A very natural scent which definitely makes good mood. Scentwise Master Soap Creations is fantastic. With no effort you can produce tons of great, cushiony lather. Last but not least the Aftershave. It smells more intense than the Swiss Pitralon, more „leathery“ and a bit more „medicinal“, but i like this contrast with the fresh, fruity notes of the soap. Skincare is top notch here.

This Canadian Tech is such a great razor - as mild as it is the performance is fabulous especially with an Astra Green blade. It’s been too long since I’ve last used one of my dear brother Jaco’s soaps - his Rooi Afrikaner is tallow based, it has a very nice herbal scent with soapy notes, the lather is such a pleasure to work up, the slickness is wonderful, and it’s so gentle on my skin. The Fino balm is also from South Africa and it’s unscented, it gives great soothing with plenty of moisturizing, the Iced Lime aftershave is a Canadian barbershop classic, and do I ever LOVE the Aramis fragrance - it’s always been a top favourite of mine. Another three pass work of art - what a great BBS shave this was!
