Happy Friday! Happy Friday! It has been a week for sure. I have made great progress on the soap while having fantastic shaves. I hope everyone has a great day and take care.

I think I have one bottle of Dollar General Splash (Brut Knockoff).
The AV and Skin Bracer Knockoffs are virtually indistinguishable from the Real McCoys. The DG Brut is very, very close. Only the DG costs significantly less than the Real McCoy -- but if I'm not mistaken it is no longer made.

If it counts, I have several bottles of vintage Avon Fresh Spice (very similar to Vintage Old Spice.) Also several Avon Spicey (not quite as close to Old Spice, but great nonetheless.)

    XPEC Original~~TSN X LE~~Gillette #44/Polsilver~~Oud al Layl
Not pictured is the Eufros ASB. Continuing its 3017.
Not a huge fan of this razor or the blade. Of all the Polish Wizamets I have tried, these are the
    weakest.
The Gillette #44 has a VERY small blade gap. One must really ride the cap to get some blade feel.
    It's pretty, but looks aren't everything. Right @wristwatchb :p

Shaved yesterday, but ended up not having time to post. The next SE up was this Injector that came as a gift from @Screwtape many years ago now, right at the start of my wetshaving journey. Like all the Schick injectors I’ve owned, it is such an easy shaver.
As for the focus, still no sign of the tub bottom.
    Have a great weekend all.

    Easy 3017 this time.
The Ranger Tech is far superior to the #44 I used
    yesterday.
The Polsilver blade must've enjoyed being held by it, too.
OfG is my Stank du Jour.

Happy Saturday everyone. I have had a busy morning pressure washing the front porch and walkway. A nice chilly shave was in order so I added some B&M Terrorade to the soap before lathering. Wow! A very long lasting face freeze made me feel much better. I will not be surprised if this soap is done and dusted before the end of next weekend. Have a great day everyone and take care.

Happy Sunday Everyone. Swati and I have had a busy morning getting ready for out of town guest. Fortunately they are our home for only the afternoon. We both still have so much work left from the office that needs to be done before tomorrow morning. Another excellent shave this morning. The Twig razor punches well above its weight. It was getting hard to load the remaining soap so I moved it to a lather bowl. I hope everyone has a great day and take care.

I can't speak for "Aaaako"(some Bostonian in there lol), but Clubman Hair-Styling Gel is the thing of things :) (course if you like Clubman, that is).

Agreed. My baritone friend loaned me his and it was surprisingly easy to wield and held the blade (1/2) quite securely. Have a great Sunday with you friend!

Le Père Lucien Bay Rum~~Simpson M7~~1908 Gillette SR/Polsilver
I have to say, this soap is not my fav. I have never been fond of the European's "take" on Bay Rum.

This soap builds a nice-looking lather, but it's not as slick as my tallow iterations.
    Post shave is meh.
I took a few minutes cleaning up the SR. It was quite tarnished.
    Flitz to the rescue.
Polsilver blade is binned. A while back, I did a comparison of Polsilver/Wizamet blades, and if I remember correctly,
this original Polsilver came in dead last. YMMV, naturally.
Continuing the 3017'ing of the ASB.

We ended up going out to the lake this weekend. Last weekend out there as a family for this year. I ended up not shaving, so today was a full 3 pass reduction of 72hrs worth. This little, light Injector handled it easily.
    Have a great day all.
