Whenever I use this Wilkinson Sword DE I have to be more careful because it’s somewhat more aggressive than my other razors but it still performs great. The Glacial Strawberry Lemonade soap and aftershave are two menthol atom bombs with a most delightful scent that I really enjoy - the strawberry is the more dominant feature but the lemon still comes through, the soap lathers like there’s no tomorrow, the menthol sensation is strong enough to freeze a polar bear out of the arctic, and the skincare is numero uno. The Prep gave me such wonderful postshave care, and the Glacial Strawberry Lemonade aftershave froze me to smithereens - it’s beautiful scent goes very well with the Yves Saint Laurent fragrance that my wife’s aunt gave me as a gift a couple of years ago. Three glorious passes and I’m dolphin smooth - what an awesome shave this was!

The TSD Iced Lime Shave Stick lathered well with Semogue 1305 Boar brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Gillette No Notch Super Speed and PolSilver Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Dickinson's Witch Hazel and then Osage Rub. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Mmm mmm good is the best way to describe today's shave. Vintage Williams is great and the Gem/Gem combo was smooth, comfortable and close. Again, mmm mmm good. My face is happy. Now go enjoy your day folks

Stirling Electric Sheep was on point this morning, nice slick and creamy. Comfortable 2 pass shave. Not sure how many shaves on this blade, but was comfy with no tugging. It is probably currently close to 10 shaves on it.

Razor : Gem G bar- Mfg 1955-58, tame mid range. This was the first Gem razor I used and it proved it was a worthy shave. The razor has a good coating of chrome because it is like new still. With a little care it will last generations still. Had comfortable close shave this morning.
Blade : Gem Personna SS PTFE (7) very sharp, excellent longevity, smooths out nicely, predictable + safest blade to handle.
Soap : Razorock Blue barber, nice scented soap with excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi "Artic sky" 24mm synthetic knot. Excellent lather generator, heavenly cloud like soft tips, gentle splay scrubber + excellent lather painter.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Razorock Blue barber splash with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers= Had a close comfortable shave this morning with my my Gem G bar with a Gem coated blade. Very nice shave with this 68 year old razor.
