Prep: Warm shower:/ Nivea Men Power 24H Fresh Effect Shower Gel.

Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face & head.
Wrights Coal Tar Bar Soap.
Brush: Frank Shaving 22mm Synthetic.
Bowl Lather.
Bowl: Home Bargains Stainless Steel Side Bowl.
Lather: Gillette Original Scent Shave Foam. (Red)
Razor: FaTip Grande. (Face) - Gillette London Bridge. (D2)
Razor: Gillette Guard. (Head) (D2)

Post:
Cold water Face & Head wash with brush squeezing's,/ Cold Water Face & Head Rinse./ Alum Rub./Cold Water Face & Head Rinse./Homemade (~Autumn/Winter mix~) peppermint lavender, eucalyptus, + Tea Tree essential Oils Mixed Together With 200ml of Care+Witch Hazel/ Brut Splash ASL. /Baylis & Harding Amber & Sandalwood ASB.

Early morning Shave,

First head shave using the Gillette foam, i made the lather slightly more wet for my head shave for extra slickness & glide however, the lather still had plenty of protection with a good post shave feel.
Another enjoyable close comfortable face & head shave with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Baylis & Harding Amber & Sandalwood ASB.

My face is feeling cool smooth, & smelling divine.

The addition of the water to the shave foam gave the lather a good slickness & glide, which worked fine especially on the dome.

Love the MMOC. One of my favorites in my den. Superb shave. I usually bin my GEM stainless blades after shave #10. Clarification on a term: WAS = Whoop Arse Shave?

This morning's shave was real good. Glad I switched the soap&A.S. combination to better prepare for the Indian Summer weather. The Stoylin soap hit the spot-nice job of administering the thing. I learned something when I got it onto the brush-the very top of the brush was empty whereas the rest of it got the soap. That's odd. But I covered everywhere nicely, no Cuts, Knicks, Polka-dots. 2 passes. Felt nice to do the Osage A.S.-I still have a good amount left. Besides this being "Oudtober" fr me, I'm also doing a focus on Cactus Nation, especially around the Ingrown Hair area. I'll try to do a better job there tomorrow. Very well done overall. Super Duper Outstanding.

I saw that dark Gillette Shave Foam in my local CVS the other day. Looks just like a Rise can. Did Gillette copy Rise??????????

Thank you Joe...it's been years since I've used it myself. Mixing the foam/cream in the bowl with the synthetic brush and the additional water makes a very acceptable slick lather. I would never shy away from using a traditional soaps/cropes or creams,but I will from time to time add the foam to my soap/cream rotation just to use both of the cans up rather than putting them in storage and forgetting about them.
