(Face) - Gillette London Bridge. (D1) Razor: Gillette Guard. (Head) (D3) Post: Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's, Cold Water Face Rinse./Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse./Homemade (~Autumn/Winter mix~) peppermint lavender, eucalyptus, + Tea Tree essential Oils Mixed Together With 200ml of Care+Witch Hazel./ Boots Freshwood ASL + ASB Greetings, (Face & Head Shave) A new eclectic shave set up to start the weekend....Carrying on for another week using the Gillette Shave Foam...in my previous weeks shaves I used the the Gillette Original Scent Shave Foam (Red) this week I've used the sensitive (Green) which I didn't notice any real difference in the same shaving performance as the (red). The only slight difference is the scent of the (green) can which to my nose has a light musky/sandalwood fragrance. What was important was the foam mixed up into an acceptable slick protective lather. The foam comes to life with the addition of the added water and bowl lathering. It's been a while since I've last used the parker 24C which is very smooth & comfortable to use I like the long hefty grippy handle... The only differences between the 24C are is the FG is slightly more efficient than the 24C and found you have to apply a steeper shaving angle with the 24C like all my parker DE razors. An enjoyable comfortable face & head shave with no errors to report. Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Boots Freshwood ASB. Saturday morning: King C. Gillette Facial Wash Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole Wilkinson Sword/Astra Green day 6 Captain Nemo Shepherd SS Aveeno Moisturizer English Leather Classic AS Splash The Yaqi Barber Pole synthetic whipped up awesome lather with the Shepherd soap from Captain Nemo. This soap is vegan based like all of Abir’s soaps, (the use of tallow is prohibited in India) the scent is so nice, the lather is not only thick as well as rich and protective, it’s so slick, not to mention how gentle it is on sensitive skin like mine. The Aveeno moisturizer is unscented so it works great as a balm, and the English Leather aftershave smells so beautifully old school. This Wilkinson Sword razor is fantastic - it’s a bit more aggressive than my other DEs but it’s still very safe for me to use. DE SOTD, Saturday, October 7th 2023. Razor : Gillette Fatboy adjustable E4- Mfg 1959- all aggression ranges. Well built to last generations with a little care, brass base with a Nickel coating. I prefer my Fatboy over my Gillette Slim slightly, both great razors and sold millions. Blade : Gillette Permasharp (1) sharp and smooth with reasonable longevity. Soap : Yaqi Musketeer Rapier, nice unique scent similar to (Aramis classic) with excellent lather qualities. Yaqi had Master soap Creations SA make their line of soaps and fragrances. Brush : Yaqi" Lucky dice" 26mm brown whiskers synthetic fan knot. Excellent lather generator, luxury cloud like soft tips, nice splay scrubber + excellent lather painter. Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area. Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups. Post shave : Yaqi Musketeer Rapier with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless). Results : or CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= Had a close comfortable shave this morning with my Gillette Fatboy with a Gillette 7 oClock Permasharp. Have some great shaves!
