The Vintage Life Licorice Shaving Soap lathered well with Semogue 1305 Boar brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Gem Jr. Bar Lather Catcher and Personna GEM SS PTFE Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Dickinson's Witch Hazel and then Lustray Spice After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Razor : Schick injector E2 type Canadian Variant - Mfg in 1930's- 40's - mid range. Excellent design and very nimble to roam the face, a person can get nicks with a little to much pressure.
Blade : Schick blade(1) sharp and smooth with reasonable longevity. Good I had a tuck in waiting as my Personna are used up.
Soap : Speick stick, nice spicy scent with excellent lather qualities. One of my favorite performance soaps.
Brush : Yaqi "Atlantis" 24mm G4 synthetic. Excellent lather generator, similar 2band badger face feel, nice splay scrubber + excellent lather painter.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Ach Brito Lavanda with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + 1 weeper = Had a close comfortable shave this morning with my

Razor : Gem MicroMatic OC- Mfg 1930- 41, well built to last generations with a little care + was the first mass produced Twist to open(TTO) in the razor world. The MicroMatic was a success and helped helped Gem and ASR through the dirty 30's.
Blade : Gem Personna SS PTFE (8) very sharp, great longevity, smooths out nicely, predictable + safest blade to handle!
Soap : Speick stick, nice mild spicy scent with excellent longevity.
Brush : Yaqi " Ferrari" 24mm boar bristle hair brush. Excellent lather generator, soft split end boar bristle tips.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Ach Brito Lavanda with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= Had a close comfortable shave this morning with my Gem MicroMatic with a coated Gem blade.
