Sunday Schick Sunday, October 08 2023

Razor : Schick injector E2 type Canadian Variant - Mfg in 1930's- 40's - mid range. Excellent design and very nimble to roam the face, a person can get nicks with a little to much pressure.
Blade : Schick blade(1) sharp and smooth with reasonable longevity. Good I had a tuck in waiting as my Personna are used up.
Soap : Speick stick, nice spicy scent with excellent lather qualities. One of my favorite performance soaps.
Brush : Yaqi "Atlantis" 24mm G4 synthetic. Excellent lather generator, similar 2band badger face feel, nice splay scrubber + excellent lather painter.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Ach Brito Lavanda with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= Had a close comfortable shave this morning with my

My face is so frozen from this setup - wowwwwww, the Explosion de Cedrat soap surprised me big time with its menthol sensation. This soap smells so beautiful - it’s very lemony with some lime notes, the lather whips up fantastically, there’s plenty of slickness to it, it’s so cold especially during the second and third passes not to mention how comfortable the postshave feeling is. The Kaffir Lime aftershave toner contains no alcohol so it doesn’t burn or sting, it smells awesome, it goes on icy cold, and the Alcolado Glacial splash is another menthol atom bomb. Finally the gorgeous Aramis fragrance and I’m good to go. Three passes gave me a dynamite BBS shave that I enjoyed to the max!

The TSD Iced Lemongrass Shaving Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #340 Badger brush. Two passes and touch ups with the 1907 Gem Jr. Lather Catcher and a '47 Rolls Wedge Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Dickinson's Witch Hazel and then Osage Rub. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
